STANLEY 8in (200mm) Bi-Material Adjustable Wrench, 0-90-948

It is a handy tool to have & it has served me well so far. It’s small in size but works really well for different jobs. It’s fairly light weight but has a good grip that can be adjusted. The price was very reasonable and definitely more affordable than going to a DIY store. Stanley is a well known brand for which I have other tools made by them, so I can trust them to provide good quality products.

I adore mine!! I have a bicycle. Guess what seems to be missing from most spanner sets? 15mm Guess what size most larger nuts are on a bike? Yup, you guessed it!! I have two of these (bike spindles are a pain), which travel with me. The fact that you can 'dial up' the size you want before you get started is a plus, being accurate is a bigger plus, when I have grease on my hands, that the grip remains a grip and does not become a piece of oiled steel bar? - This is the biggest plus of all! An excellent, trusted name from my childhood. It is great to see the same quality some 40 years on. I do still find having ratchet spanners useful for servicing. I may have limited lateral movement and/or use this spanner for a firm grip on the other end . Needed unless you are an octopus.

A really nice wrench that feels absolutely solid and durable. The handle grip especially makes it feel assured when trying to undo those tough stubborn bolts as you can get really good leverage without it feeling uncomfortable on the hands like the ones made entirely of metal. Just the right size and weight for me so that its strong but still compact enough for harder to reach places.

Good sturdy tool but head is large so hard for smaller items

Mi experiencia con esta llave ajustable Stanley ha sido muy positiva. Cumple bien con lo esperado, ofreciendo un buen agarre gracias a su mango bimaterial y una apertura ajustable que se adapta a varias medidas. J'avais besoin d'une clé à molette polyvalente pour la plomberie et quelques travaux de mécanique à la maison. La MaxSteel 200 mm coche toutes les cases. Le corps en acier forgé chrome vanadium avec traitement thermique, c'est du solide, rien à voir avec les clés bas de gamme qui se déforment à la première contrainte sérieuse. La molette de réglage crantée permet un ajustement précis sans jeu intempestif, la tête étroite passe dans des espaces où d'autres clés ne passent pas, et la poignée bimatière est vraiment agréable en main même après plusieurs heures de travail. Le format 200 mm est le bon compromis : assez grand pour avoir du couple, assez compact pour rester maniable. Les graduations sur la mâchoire pour mesurer directement la taille de l'écrou sont un détail très pratique.
