So far it’s pretty good. It’s got great sound quality and volume levels. I bought this specifically because it’s more affordable and has a continuous sound option. I don’t want one that takes batteries or lights up and is distracting. I also didn’t want one that turns off a couple hours later.This has a large amount of sound options and volume settings which is really nice. Plus when you turn it off, it saves the sound you were on so you don’t have to go through the sounds each and every time.It’s a calming device for my little one and works great!Quick delivery, good quality, good performance and is cute and little. Nothing bulky or obnoxious.I would recommend this one

I had an Echo Dot providing my sleep sounds. Biggest problem was that when there was an internet outage, the sound would stop. Irritating. This new device has pretty comparable sound quality (i.e., not very good, but acceptable). Nice and small, unobtrusive on my night stand, Great selection of sound tracks (with no interruptions). Great product at a great price.

This has been a Godsend for me. There are many different sounds and volume control and timer. My favorite is the sound of the ocean waves. This really does help to put me to sleep, especially when my mind is racing and will not turn off. A definite "must buy" for anyone who has sleep issues.

I'm impressed my the quality of the sound for something so compact. I love it! the noise settings are great. I got it for pink nose, but love the brown noise. There are a bunch of guys who sit outside my window and smoke, cough, yell, and complain around the clock. This blocks them out even better than the AC unit and for a lot less money! It's also very loud for the size. Some people complain that it's too loud even on the quietest setting, and I can see why. It won't turn down to a really soft sound, but the point of it is to block out noise, so it's not a problem for me. I haven't turned it all the way up yet. I just know that it got way louder than I'll ever need it before I hit the upper limit. It gets loud enough that I can't tell if the AC unit next to it is running out not. I'm really pleased.I can't say that I'd recommend it for the music settings, as the sound quality of a single, tiny speaker isn't up to replicating a piano how is like to hear it, but I'm really picky about audio. There's no way the "Alpha Wave" setting can change brainwave frequency with a single speaker, but it's a choice I'm sure someone will appreciate. Just not me. I'll stick with the noises.A lot of people complain that you have to cycle through the settings and they're not grouped into categories like some similar products. I don't have a problem with this. It took only me a few minutes to get familiar with where things were and I think most people will be like me and find there are one or two they like and get to them quickly. Honestly, every time I've taken it off the Brown noise setting to give something elsea try, I end up back on Brown noise after a few minutes anyway. I'd guess that 98% of people will find what works for them and just keep it there like I do. I chose this one because the reviews I read about the ones that have the more sophisticated controls used looped sounds and there are audible clicks when the loops cycle. All of the sounds on this one are smooth and clear. I only wish it projected sound 360°. It would be great if it sent noise out the back to prevent the inside sounds from being heard on the outside. Even though it puts sounds out on three sides, the quality and quantity of the sound varies greatly depending on the angle. The sound coming out the sides is insignificant compared to the front.Overall, a very compact product that doors what it says very well and provides surprisingly good sound for the size.

Many good sound options, box fan is best

For the low price I was not sure this would be a high quality item but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the compact size and ease of use. Once I figured out that the numbers in the booklet went across and not down it was easy to try all the sounds. The music was a bit tinny but I bought it for the brown noise which is often absent on sound machines. The brown noise is good and the volume perfectly adequate for bedside table. I like the options for timer but I leave it on the infinity setting so it runs all night. I also run an ipod playing a brown noise loop on a speaker dock in my apartment all day to block out traffic noise and will test this to see if volume is enough for larger space. If so I might get another as the ease of use far exceeds using the ipod dock and all the logging in and verification every day.

BROWN NOISE - that’s what I bought it for. I have been sleeping like a baby. I had a name brand noise machine for tinnitus , before this. This is much better. Cheaper , looks better aesthetic wise. Works better. Stops the ringing in my ears. The brown noise helps me sleep , because if you have ADD or now called ADHD. Apparently it calms you somehow. Google it I can’t remember. All I know is it works & it works well. I’m so happy I bought it. It also has 2 white noise sounds. Only one brown noise sound but that’s great. It has birds I think and like 30 other sounds. Rain fall. Ocean waves etc. I’m just here for the brown noise and loving it. Try it out - return it if you don’t like it. But it’s a noise machine hard not to like. lol.
