Optimus Titanium Folding Spork Cutlery

This product hits the nail on the head! There are a lot of sporks out there with various shapes, made from various materials. After comparing the market i decided to opt with this. It is a wonderful item. Excellent quality and build. It looks good and is durable. The folding feature is superb, this is something a lot of sporks are missing. Not only does it save space by being a spoon and fork, it also folds. You can keep it in a shirt pocked or trouser pocket so its readily available and not lost at the bottom of the rucksack. It is also really easy to clean, much better than some of the plastic ones on the market. Also an excellent bonus is that because its made from metal and is much stronger it even cuts through some food quite easily, it isn't sharp like a knife so its still safe. Unless your eating really tough food it kind of works as a spoon, knife and fork. I know this will last me much longer than any of the plastic sporks I could have bought. It also looks really good as well, a nice talking point too. The price is a bit more than the plastic ones but you have to pay for quality! You don't just have to use this for camping. I've even used it as a packed lunch spoon. Its great if you take some pasta to work because it folds up nicely into the box taking up the smallest amount of space.

Been looking for a good spork and was baffled with all the products you can choose from. I opted for the Optimus because i was satisfied with their Nova stove with its build and quality. I wasn't wrong. This folding spork is very light and very well built. Don't be deceived by the picture here these sporks are full sized spoons with the serration or fork on the tips, this is good to some like me but may not be an option for others. There is a slight issue in its design though, I would have preferred if the ends of the wire handles had a some sort of dent in its ends to stop it from getting off its holes, that would have prevented the handles from detaching from the actual spork heads. Otherwise this fits on my camping mess kit and goes well with rest of my gear, even better with its standard spoon size meals are more satisfying.

I bought this Optimus Titanium Folding Spork because when it's folded in half it fits inside my Optimus Weekend He Pot along with my gas canister, my stove and my fire steel. I now have a complete cooking system for my outdoor trips. The spork is very lightweight but also very strong. It is a fantastic bit of gear and I would recommend it to anyone who is planning doing any cooking and eating outdoors.

Poor build quality disappointed with primus too expensive with China version's being of better quality
