Sticks very well, but also comes off easily, much better than a Band-Aid. It doesn't leave a lot of residue behind like a Band-Aid will, and it handles getting wet better. The extra padding is great if you're using it on a finger

I bought this (and a number of other tapes) to keep Dexcom CGM sensors attached beyond the week or so I can get out of the normal sensor pad. of the options I tried (generic surgical tape, 3M Blenderm, and this Microfoam), the microfoam was the most comfortable, but doesn't stay particularly well. Its also not super flexible so as my skin moves, it tends to release. The Blenderm is the stickiest, but like others have recorded, it caused irritation for me. I don't have sensitive skin, so I was surprised at the itchy redness it caused. For what it's worth, in the end I've found the best solution is to shave the area completely, then exfoliate it with an abrasive scrub or louffa, then wipe it all well with an alcohol pad. That way I can get a full 7 days or more out of the sensor.

This tape is fabulous! My glaucoma surgeon recommended it for me to use at night to hold the shield I have to wear over my eye in place. Can't believe how well it works: it's so flexible that it fits well around my eye and nose; its adhesive is perfect...it holds well for several nights running and yet comes off without leaving any residue on my skin. Despite how well it adheres to the skin, it pulls off easily with no pulling. I can't speak more highly of this tape. I'd tried paper tape and even fashioned an elasticized band to fit around my head. Neither was satisfactory. Wearing an eye shield is not fun, but this tape sure makes it easier! Thank you, 3M!Linda

There is not a whole lot of tape but if you have an issue with itching and irritation to tape then this is the right tape for you. Also other tapes leave behind tape residue that you have to rub real hard to get off. This residue comes off so easy, no need to scrub or rub real hard at all. To me this was well worth the price.

Worked like a charm. It is exactly the same tape they used at the surgery center. I was glad to have morefor use at home.

We bought several of these and this second order was bad. The adhesive part is de-laminating from the foam. I am sure this is just a bad batch but the Amazon seller does not offer returns.

I ordered this after the doctor gave me some to hold a splint on for a fractured knuckle. Because of the stretchy nature of the tape, it would give and then bring the splint back into place. I have sensitive skin and this didn't bother it at all -- and I had to wear the splint for 6 weeks.
