Gardman A01124 Bird Bath, Mini Blue, 23 x 6.5 x 23 cm

pretty and nice quality but l shortened the chains to keep the pigeons off as it's not really big enough for them

I'm so pleased i bought 2 for the birds I didn't expect them to be this quality the colour is a beautiful blue glazed pottery inside and bird motif on the underside the chain is strong too I love them and so will our feathered friends

i was a bit suspicious when the package looked like it had been resealed, but when the glazed bowl contained stains and what looked like bird footprints, i am certain this is a used and returned item. This disappoints me as i paid for new. As it happens the dish cleaned up nicely.The interior of the bowl is nicely glazed and the chains look sturdy enough. Disappointed it is unglazed underneath though.An ok product.....

Very good tray, and it's terracotta (or should I say china or ceramic) and the material feels good too. I don't like cheap plasticky or slippery metallic material, but in that sense, this is quite heavy (because of the ceramic material). The blue paint looks very nice and doesn't look cheap. The only tiny criticism I have is that the three holes that you'll use to put the chain hooks through are quite deep (i.e. low down) in the dish, so I can put just the right amount (?) of water, but the bath looks a bit too shallow to me with this water level. I would've liked to put some more water, so it's easier for the small birds to reach water and drink, but it looks as though the birds will need to go into the bath to reach water? I know they bathe even in the coldest time of the year, but sometimes they might only want some quick sip instead of a bath, so I wish those holes would be slightly higher than where they are now. Apart from that, it looks very nice, and I chose this one because it looked the nicest ones on the market.

I have hung this up about 5 ft from the ground in my garden and have seen small birds drinking and bathing in it. Both the chains and the bath itself are of good quality. However, from my experience with my previous similar Gardman birdbath, it is advisable to empty it at night in freezing weather and bring it indoors. I forgot to do this one night, the water froze and the bath broke in half. However, I had had it for 10 years and not always remembered to empty it in winter, so if not absolutely frost-proof, it is frost-resistant.

I wanted a small bird bath, this fits the bill. Looks lovely in the garden.

It’s very nice to look at and most importantly serves a purpose

Only problem for me with this is that I get squirrels climbing and could nock it down and it’s breakable, otherwise it’s a really nice product.
