I just started learning to crochet and this kit is perfect to get me started with a little bit of everything. Keep in mind that this is an all in one, beginners kit, for a great deal. The items are not top quality, but they are all still decent to get you started with this craft to see if you like it. The bag is a bit flimsy and cheap, but it does hold all of the items and the zipper works well. It keeps everything contained and in one place. The yarn is decent and the color selection is awesome. Very vibrant colors. The plastic tool box is not the best. The smaller items sometimes move around in the compartments, but again, everything is contained in the box and kept together. The various hooks provide options to work with different types of yarn. Not sure that I will need them all, but it is nice to have all of the sizes. I love that I have stitch markers in multiple colors to keep me on track when working on a project. I also like that the scissors come with a cover since I generally keep that floating around in my bookbag (that I bought separately).

Purchased this for our 12 yr old daughter who is just learning to crochet. She loves it! She says the yarn is good and likes all the extras.

I started crocheting a few months ago with this kit and I'm still using it! There is just about every tool you'll need as a beginner and intermediate crocheter. My only complaint is that the yarn is a little too coarse for wearable projects for my taste. Overall a great product for someone who wants to learn how to crochet but doesn't know where to start.

I was a little disappointed in the actual size of the kit and yarn, but it does come with a lot of small but beautiful acrylic yarn colors. While the quality of the purple bag is not the best, it would be easy for me to take it with me on a trip where I just want to relax. The part I liked best was the plastic box your tools such as the crochet hooks and stitch markers come in. It was a good size and holds a lot. There were also some simple instructions for beginners. I am just a beginner myself, but this seems like a good place to start for a first kit until you learn what size of hook to use with what type of yarn.

The yarn material certainly is not up to par and is such a tiny amount in the colored rolls. The kit stuff is the most interesting in the entire bag. It does teach them different patterns and provides them with various tools. However because of the quality and tiny size of the yarn it is great for younger girls.I would honestly make your own bag of crocheting goodies for any older teens, adults or even yourself.

Small skeins of yarn. Great colors. Good quality yarn. I bought this yarn to make pompoms for my 5 yr old grandchildren

What a great idea. I think with Christmas coming this is a perfect time to get a couple of these to gift off at Christmas. No matter your age this is a lovely gift and fun activity to do and a great memory to share as a family to do.A must buy

This little kit has a great assortment of items for someone new to crochet. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they put some knitting items in the kit.
