I bought the BIC Break-Resistant Mechanical Pencils (0.7mm, 12-pack) for my daughter, who’s in middle school and constantly snapping leads in her old pencils. These have been a total lifesaver! The shock-absorption mechanism really works—she can press as hard as she wants while scribbling notes or sketching, and the lead holds up. The grip is comfy for her long study sessions, and the jumbo eraser is a hit—she says it wipes out mistakes cleanly without smudging her paper. Great upgrade from the super cheap ten-packs we used to use. Worth the extra money if you use pencils a lot. Much more comfortable to work with. I like them and my teen does as well.

Both of my kids have dysgraphia, a disorder that makea it difficult to write by hand. They absolutely love these pencils. My oldest son (17) literally hoards them and refuses to let anyone borrow them. My youngest son carries the extra leads around with him to make sure he is never stuck without a functional pencil. What makes them so great is 1) they write dark without much pressure, 2) they're a bit thicker than most pencils and are very comfortable to hold, 3) they don't break easily, 4) the button to extend the lead is by the index finger which makes it quick and easy, and 5) the eraser is fabulous--it fully (!) erases with very little pressure and does not leave a smudgy mess on the page. They're great pencils and I've got my fingers crossed that they never quit making them.

The shock-absorption thing works okay; lead advances with a side click and doesn't shatter as quick as cheaper ones when I'm jotting mileage or outlining agendas in spiral notebooks. Used them for precise stuff like graphing daily budgets, shading priority lists (black for must-do, light for later), and erasing/revising hotel booking notes. These are great pencils! I am a college student so I do a lot of writing and a lot of trying to write really fast and I have been on the search for pencils that can withstand my rigorous abuse. Every pencil I have tried either the lead breaks every other letter I write or the actual pencil starts to bend, or the lead starts to push back into the pencil every time you put a little pressure on it.This pencil does none of that! They really are wonderful pencils! Worth the price without a doubt.

Just buy these. I'll tell you why. We have an art table overstocked with almost everything. When we became short on pencils, I bought these. I put them on the art table but took one to do word puzzles with. I was surprised and delighted at the way these pencils wrote letters, clearly and the right amount of darkness, easy to see.My niece arrived, saw these and immediately began to write and draw with them. She also tested the eraser and was surprised to find everything erased cleanly. Needless to say, she took most of the pencils home with her, and I ended up buying two more packages.Being a puzzle nut, I appreciate a good pencil with a good eraser. These are the best I've come across. My niece even asked for another pack so she could use them when school starts up again.Just buy them, totally worth it.

Muy buenos los lápices de BIC, son ergonómicos, la mina es muy oscura y resistente, el borrador es grande y muy fácil cargar las minas, me hubiera gustado más variedad de colores, solo vienen en la caja de 12 lápices el color gris y azul

This is my fav kind of pencil i literally cried when i accidentally broke my old one. These pencils have been my go to for school, they’re durable, comfortable, and very easy to use, last time I got the pack of 2 and only really used the one pencil and it lasted me the entire school year, I got the 4 pack this year cuz I lose everything and also cuz I wanted the pink pencil
