Ronseal RSLFLPPHG5L 5 Litre Fence Life Plus Paint - Harvest Gold

Ronseal gave me a voucher for two more 5L tubs and didn't know why it came off the trellis. Followed all the instructions and applied 3 coats as the trellis well weathered.

Had to get a second pot to finish fence. It only just made it- the paint was on the lip of the pot but it was well wrapped so no problem.

The shed in my image has recieved 3 coats and was partially previously painted with a chestnut coloured shed paint. I will be adding a forth to deepen the colour. The texture of the paint was not good on opening the tin, even by the standards of other paint shipped to me. It was very lumpy and took much more stirring to get a decent texture and even colour. In the end I could only get a good coverage using a firm sponge rather than my roller or paintbrush. I had to re mix the paint throughout each painting session which slowed me down. However once it is thoroughly re mixed it goes on relatively smoothly with low odour. Each coat was dry enough to repaint within 2 hours, on a warm day rather than the 4 hours suggested on the tin. Easier to open then most.

I always use this fence treatment. Does exactly what it says. Well packaged and great value for money.

Great Colour, good quality paint. Went on easily and dried quickly. No smell. Put Two coats on. Great product.

I like the colour, I think it depends on the light but it looks almost grey/blue not green.In this picture I’ve got 2 coats on the roof and 3 on the slats. I reckon 4-5 coats and they’ll look good.I’d buy again but the old me who hated painting for ages wouldn’t.
