12 x home inspiration official Yankee candle sampler/candles rare unusual fragrances

I would not give even one star ! but it would not allow me to do this. I am usually a Yankee candle fan and would rate them highly, however this purchase was extremely disappointing. The candles were very sticky when opened and after trying a few of the candles there was no fragrance to any of them. I therefore tried the others and unfortunately not one candle out of the 12 had any fragrance what so ever. I also noted some of the stickers and wrapping appeared old as though maybe it was old stock and hence may explain the lack of fragrance. I would actually question if these were genuine Yankee, as this is the first purchase in several years that I have been less than satisfied. I also did not appear to be given any rare fragrances. Very poor quality.

Some of these had started to melt in their packaging. It was sticky and everywhere. I had bought to put in little bags I was making up for Christmas presents for the neighbours but loads I had to keep aside as they looked awful. The silver bit and label on the bottom had come away and there was sticky slime bursting out of their packaging. Not great quality at all.

These are the ones I received. Very happy. Although I don't think that the home inspiration range are as strong as the normal Yankee, the scents are beautiful. Lemon meringue my fave. I do cut my votives into 4 and use a wax burner rather than light the wick as I think they are stronger in smell and you get more out of them. Works out cheaper than buying tarts. All scents were different and all came in perfect condition. Will definitely be purchasing more of these.

What I got was candles stuffed in a brown bag. The candles are OK but I brought them for a Christmas present expecting them to be in a box at least. Not stuffed in a brown bag.I have had to buy a box and arrange them in it myself. Very disappointed.

A lovely selection of Yankee candles in scents that I likely wouldn’t have thought to buy myself. I seen reviews about the candles not smelling of being sticky, but this is not my experience. As soon as I opened the box I got a lovely smell and it still smells amazing. I will definitely buy these again!

Arrived poorly packaged. Only five of the candles had any discernible scent, two of them quite unpleasant. The first one was very difficult to get the cellophane wrapping off and the candle itself was unpleasantly sticky. Can't really describe the aroma as this one didn't have one. The worst thing is the description says you will get 12 different scented candles. But from other reviews and my current experience you clearly don't. I only got 4 different - 3 of each. I complained to the seller who fobbed me off and said it was a lucky dip. i want a refund but I couldn't trust sending them back to the seller as fear I would hear nothing after that. This really fails the trades description act but I have no way to get it changed.

This is my second order. I bought two sets as the value works out better at about 83p per candle. I have not received any doubles, they are all different. The candles came in a well-sealed box delivered by Royal Mail. They smell really good and do last a while. My last purchase was in the Summer and I still have some left over. I like them and think they are good value.

I ordered 3 lots and got them next day as soon as I opened the box u could smell the candles. I opened the first bag and was very pleased with the candles the scents are ones I’ve not heard of before. But when I opened the other two bag they was the same as first bag was a bit disappointed. As I was hoping to get more new scented ones. but at the end of the day there great value for money 😊
