Great product, strong and better than most

Very useful and feels sturdy enough, can't vouch for durability as have only had them a short while. One thing I should point out is that as the pole is standing on concrete it tends to slip. I put a rubber stop on the end and it works a treat,

I had two very similar clothes props that were not satisfactory - if you tightened the screw enough to stop the pole telescoping back into itself when there was heavy washing, it actually split and became useless. These are very reasonably priced.I have started using one of these new ones, and the inner pole is painted (unlike my previous ones) whether this gives a better grip remains to be seen, but so far it is holding up. Two things I miss about the earlier version are (1) that there was a little gap near the top that allowed me to hang my peg-bag from it, and it didn't get blown off. The new one has this gap filled in, and (2) the previous one had a slightly pointed end that stopped it slipping on the ground, whereas the new one has a rounded end. However, if it proves to remain at its longest even with heavy washing, it will still be a great improvement. Watch this space.I am now able to report that the pole remained fully extended all day with heavy towels on the line. I think it is a different make from the unsatisfactory previous ones, although the bit that broke looks the same. \it must be made of sterner stuff!

We've been using these for the last couple of summers. We use a washing line that attaches between house and garage, with the need for something to break up the length and take some weight.Green and red, the hook on each attaches to the washing line, the other end is stable enough on grass for purchase. And they extend a good amount, though the fault I've found is that if you don't ensure you've tightened it a lot they can slowly shrink back down and be a nuisance to extend again when supporting a line full of heavy, wet washing. But that's up to us to tighten enough.A good pair, support our washing and haven't had a problem with them yet.

Robust build but susceptible to water ingress into the lower half. Ours were left out in heavy overnight rain and needed wd40 to seperate about 3 days later. Overall though a useful piece of kit.

Bought a similar product a few years ago which unfortunately rusted.These however appear to have a plastic coating which should prevent that. Easy to use and adjust easily to different heights.Packaging was not great. They were wrapped several times in cling film. This was not easy to remove and could cause damage to the plastic coating of the clothes pole if not extremely careful.

Do not get these.... I have had them less than a month (used maybe 1ce a week) and they are already falling apart.I am very disappointed as I have been making a effort to reduce our waste and moving to using a washing line to dry was part of this, to realise that I have accidentally added to the waste of things having to be thrown out after only a couple of uses by buying these is actually quite upsetting.

So badly needed a stronger prop for my two washing lines so when i saw these, at a great price, i just had to order them. I am very please with them as they are a lovely colour blue, well made and easy to extend. Packaging was fab and quick delivery. Highly recommended.
