excellent product, dose exactly what it says on the tin, I needed a primer to use on my dado rails,skirting boards and my lounge doors, as they was covered in layers of old gloss paint and couldn't sand them, never used a primer before and look around before settling on this one as it basically says you can use it on nearly everything and came with good reviews, i love this product, I only really need one coat of this it was that good before I applied my main paint, might be different for other but i only needed one and after i finished all my jobs with it and their was a fair few i had just under half a tin left, and decently priced too hope it works for other as it did for me.

Saved me time and money
As I am doing a lot of work in my house painting over varnished staircase and skirting this has really proved a gem of a product. It is a great primer, goes on easily and adheres well creating the perfect base for the undercoat and gloss. Saved me paying out on decorators.

Very happy, this did a great job
I painted the bathroom cealing with this several months ago and it did a fantastic job of coating as an undercoat.I stupidly tried painting without this first and it all flaked off. When you seal it with this, even if there's little bits of leftover paint it seems to stick them all down firmly and create an even surface for the next coat. I'm an amateur DIY'er and honestly this stuff went on so eaily and helped create a lasting finish.

Best undercoat/stain cover ever!
Great coverage. I used it on the interior walls of the kids bedroom as they were in a terrible state with crayon drawings and vasaline/grease spots in places. This covered it with no problem and allowed me to paint over with colour emulsion. It's been a few months now and no sign whatsoever of the drawings reappearing through, and the top coat of paint has held in place with no chipping at all. I've just ordered some more for other projects I have in the works.

Zinsser proved very good on some surfaces but it didn't work so well on wardrobe doors, even after two coats.

value for money
renovated a kitchen set table and four chairs shiny surface two coats came up Brilliant best primer i have used and package was so securely wrapped a really great product
