Amazing product - buy it!
One of my top buys as a breastfeeding mother! I have neck and shoulder problems and holding my little baby to feed was causing so much pain that I was crying during every feed. I tried other cushions but they were too soft and didn't hold my baby high enough. I was just about to quit breastfeeding when I came across this pillow and thought I'd give it a go. Well, it is fantastic! It saved my shoulders and allowed me to continue feeding! I would highly recommend this to anyone struggling to feed because of back pain. The cushion is made of firm foam which is shaped for you and baby and fastens around your waist. Baby then lies on the top, saving your shoulders from having to lift them. I was ready to give up from the pain at 4 weeks but thanks to this pillow I'm still breastfeeding at 5 months.

Outstanding
Please read this. This is the first time I've written a review but felt that I had to as this product has been a godsend. You will have read about the flaws...just a piece of foam and very expensive but still worth every penny in my opinion. I am still using this with my son who is now 6 months old. He is average height and build by the way. I wish I'd had it when breastfeeding my first child but having spent 6 months breastfeeding I knew what I wanted this time.... a firm pillow that would keep my baby in place and it does that. I found the bumps in it a little strange at first but soon realised they helped to keep him in place and to support his head.I'm surprised more people haven't mentioned the following advantages though; Because it clips together and stays in place, it has allowed me the ease of feeding in ANY type of chair, including any cafe/restaurant/pub/friend's house, whereas with my first child I was more restricted by needing an armchair/sofa/the right kind of arm support. This has meant that I can easily sit at a dinner table with him feeding/sleeping while I can eat too. Life has been able to carry on as normal without interrupting his feeding routines or me having to wait until I've finished breastfeeding before I can join the table. So I've eaten out easily and have been able to have dinner each night with my family. Although the cushion is big, I can fit it in the bottom of my pram so take it out and about if I need to.Secondly, if I need to stand up to get something (which I frequently do with a 2 yr old as well)/change nappies etc. I can quickly reposition myself without having to reorganise cushions to support my arm/back. There is less hassle and time wasted than I remember with my first child. If you do have a baby with reflux I'd recommend using a handtowel/muslin with it as well. You could probably fit a muslin under the cover to protect the foam.I remember spending a long time deciding between this and other similar products and it's difficult to know without trying them, especially if buying for first time breastfeeding but I would say if you know you are planning to be feeding for a while this is worth spending the money on. Out of everything I have bought for my baby, this has been the best.

Great but over priced
Bought on a recommendation and although I've only been using for a couple of days so far I think it does make feeding easier - baby is naturally at the right height and my back is supported too - bliss as I had been getting pains in my wrists which were getting worse the heavier she got. I have only given it 4 stars as it's not that well made, there are frayed seams and the cover doesn't fit well and feels cheap but the concept is great. It should really be a lot cheaper for what it is.

Good For Breast Feeding, Shame About the Cheap Zip
I bought this for my wife to assist her in breast feeding our new baby. It does serve its purpose well, supporting both mother and baby at comfortable angles and offering back support. It is much better than pillows and makes the sometimes difficult job of breast feeding easier.Being a breast feeding aid, it is inevitable that at some point your little one is going to vomit or spill milk on it, this happened to us. We removed the cover and washed it as directed with the zip done up on a gentle wash in the washing machine. Next came the difficult part: We had great difficulty in replacing the cover due to the shape of the support foam, the cover only has one zip that you have to manipulate the foam in to. The zip is only made of cheap plastic and came apart during this process which rendered the cover useless with a broken zip. It was returned for a replacement.Given the cost of this item, for what in effect is a lump of foam and cotton cover with strap; I would have liked to have seen it made with a stronger zip mechanism or better designed to enable ease of cover removal/replacement.Given the negtives, my wife still loves it and thinks it's the best thing to assist breast feeding.

Not worth the money. Disappointed.
I bought this based on the reviews and friends' rcommendstions.I was very disappointed because the concept is great and when you set yourself up it can be very comfy. However, I need to put a few pillows on my back to lean back comfortably and need to put one or two pillows on my lap (under this nursing pillow) because otherwise it's way too low for my baby to reach my breasts. Therefore, I find I need a good 4 or 5 extra pillows to set myself up comfortably to breastfeed, which in my view defeats the purpose of this pillow.I also find this product too pricey for what it is and given that in itself it won't make me breastfeed comfortably (I need so many extra pillows for a good set up). Finally, even with all the extra pillows I still find myself leaning forward so that my baby can easily reach my breasts to feed, which is causing me back ache.Based on the above I would not recommend this product and think it's normal worth what it costs.
