Thick strong durable wire
Unfortunately the thickness I chose was too much for the picture I was looking to hang. It made it very difficult to tighten and knot. Not necessarily a fault of the product, just too thick for my needs

Sturdy to hang heavy frames
Comes in a sealed packing. I have used it to hang an extra large mirror frame. With strong hooks. The wire does a good job. I had issues with the crimps the seller was prompt to revert and send a replacement. I found working with the crimps a bit challenging. A proper crimping tool will be more effective than a pair of pliers.

It’s good but only supplied with 2 crimps
It’s a good heavy duty wire but odd that it’s 6m and only comes with 2x crimps.

Why would anyone review a piece of wire? Well ...
Why would anyone review a piece of wire? Well because ...I needed to replace the draw-cable of a garden parasol. This looked to be pretty much what I was looking for, although the image shows both ends already made up (which was not what I needed). "Never mind", I thought, "I can always cut those off" (I have spare crimps). To my pleasurable surprise, it's not already made up; it's supplied as a coil of wire with 2, correctly sized, aluminium crimps. A coil of wire which was neatly bound with cable ties, so it didn't attempt to leap out of the packet and attack me on opening. Both ends of the wire were neatly welded (no fraying) and properly cut (still round, not "squished" so they don't fit the crimps properly). Did I mention that the crimps were exactly the correct size, and not just generic "Make this work by just crimping it in so many places it's bound to grip something"?Etc. etc. etc. etc. - a very simple product; it is, after all, a bit of wire and 2 bits of aluminium. However the attention to detail of every aspect of the item is, I feel, worthy of commendation. An excellent product - well done, and thanks!

A bit tricky!
I'm a bit of a twit when it comes to anything practical so when I bought a large mirror which had two rings screwed into either side of the frame I just knew there was no way I'd be capable of placing either screws or hooks in precise enough positions to hang the mirror remotely straight (or indeed on both wall fixings simultaneously). So, I had a look for picture wire and opted for eBoot wire as reviews suggested it was easy to manage. When it arrived (with no instructions) I quickly assessed that I was going to need something to cut the wire and squeeze the crimps and trotted off to buy wire cutters and pliers. The eBoot wire is really thick (being made up of several thinner strands corded together) and it was a struggle to cut.. The cutting process caused the wire to fray a little which made it tricky to thread it into the crimp and at one point I impaled my thumb on one end of now very sharp wire (sore but not life threatening). Having finally managed to thread both ends into the crimps (I opted to use both crimps on the one mirror - belt and braces) I then attempted to flatten the crimps to join the ends of the wire together. I couldn't, and neither could my daughter. I found a You Tube video demonstrating how to crimp wire which confirmed my technique was correct - but I just didn't have the brute strength to squeeze the crimps closed (even with my newly purchased pliers). I considered hammering the crimps, but was savvy enough to work out this would result in a smashed mirror admitted defeat and waited for a MAN to come along a squeeze the crimps closed. A few days later a man happened into my home and was immediately handed mirror and pliers. In my defence, his first few attempts also failed, but as he threw the pliers down in defeat I realised that the first crimp was FLAT and this success spurred him on to sort the second one out too. Finally, the wire was attached and my mirror is hanging in pride of place in my living room. It's been there for about 7 hours now and so far the wire has held! I've got quite a lot of wire left but no more crimps - I've ordered more crimps from a different seller in the hope that these will be slightly more malleable and I can find more things to hang on my walls in the future.....

Well it's been up hanging our heavy mirror for the past 6 weeks.
Bought it to replace a string that was not strong enough to hold up the mirror which caused the mirror to fall. There is now a small chip in one of the corners and I bought this after reading up all the reviews. it took two of us to get it up and properly installed. To date, sturdy and secure, say no more. I would say buy as I did a fair bit of research before committing.

Excellent
Very good strong mirror wire. Triple strung it as I was putting up a very big heavy mirror, and would be devastated if it fell and broke.May well be strong enough with a single wire, just didn't want to risk it.Would buy again.

Good value
Brilliant. I used this to hang a heavy mirror approx 85cm x 120cm. I cut the cable to length. I didn't have a crimping tool so used pliers without any problems. Used the extra cut off to hang another mirror. Would I buy again. Yes
