Betron HD1000 Wired Over-Ear Headphones with Powerful Bass, Lightweight Design for PC, Laptop, Phone, 3.5mm Jack

These Betrons popped up as a suggestion ("people also bought..") just before I was about to checkout some Plattan II's.. I googled them etc.. no techradar or whathifi review, and it seemed like there were online bots posting fake positive reviews, and perhaps some deletion of bad reviews going on.. the review spotter website then gave them an "adjusted" score of 3 and a half, rather than 4 and a half stars.. hmm... I checked a blog and it gave them a fairly glowing (legit sounding) review.. I thought what the hell, they were damn cheap (and I would rather have over ear than on-ear) so I bought them. They arrived super quick (like, I was confused when the package showed up because I was expecting other things!).. I was delighted to find they come with their own carry case. (many more expensive headphones wont). They look lovely witht the faux wood, and the fabric covered cable is a big plus (helps stop tangling). The Gold is a bit tacky and gaudy IMO, but its a minor complaint. First listening impressions: they are louder than my Sony ZX310's.. and listening to the "test your headphone" playlist on Spotify, they brought out the bass of a cello beautifully, including the slap of percussive playing, and really sounded "present".. A more chill acoustic guitar / vocal set on youtube is also holding up well.. Now, as much as I enjoy music, I'm no audiophile, but these sound lovely - the warmth and high end of the guitar comes out well.. I think the extra sound isolation from over-ears is definately a factor, but considering these are a good 10 euro cheaper than my Sony's (AND have a carry case!) the quality is far superior... I did notice quite a bit of sound leakage when my friend tried them, but he claims this is because he has a weird shaped head and so headphones dont form a proper seal on his ears! (also I think he was PUMPING the music.).. Lastly, they are comfortable.. I havent tried them having them on for a long time yet, but off the bat I imagine them to be less fatiguing than my Sonys' (as they arent tight on my ears)... Im very glad I didnt spend twice the price on the Plattans! These are good headphones. For the price they are unbeatable

For the price, they are brilliant. Nice bass range, and clear sound. They won't win any music awards, but for a budget set of over ear headphones they sound good. They also look nice, with a retro style, and fit very comfortably. A little small for my gigantic head, but still nice soft cushions, and well made. The cable is also braided, which was a surprise, and mini jack connector gold plated. In addition to this they come with a hard case, so for what you're paying here, these are the best for the price point, in my opinion. I would recommend.

I recently got a new gaming laptop, and my current headphones (while not terrible) just didn't seem to be cutting it, especially with games that really take advantage of sound design and immersion (Alien Isolation, DOOM, Resident Evil 2 & 7) etc. Looking around amazon reviews, these came highly rated. I'm usually sceptical of the price of products, and while I don't buy into a lot of label high-end stuff, I do like my purchases to be of value and work. But based on the positive feedback I gave these a chance. They are very sleek in design; smooth faux wood finish and gold trim with thick faux leather inlay make these very light and comfortable, aswell as small in their design. They come with their own little sealing bag so you don't have to pack them back in the box everytime but you have an option to keep them sealed and safe. Also the cord is nice and durable, has a fabric coating that adds a little thickness so limits the risk of tearing. Now, how do they sound? In my opinion, they satisfy for both gaming and music. The moment I got them I pulled up the recent DOOM ETERNAL soundtrack, because I heard these headphones had good bass sound; obvious option seemed to be listening to heavily mixed industrial guitars and synthesizers... Even in gameplay of games everything just seems levelled, and this is only between 30 to 50 on my volume level. Overall I am very happy with these headphones. Great for the price and lots of bite! On a side note, I've made a few Betron purchases over the last few weeks, their in ear headphones and over ear retro models are all really good quality aswell. So I highly recommend them as a cheap yet quality brand :)

If only they made the ear cups bigger, then this would be a fantastic product for the money. I've had mine for a few months and they have not shown any problems with wear and tear yet. The feel and quality of the materials are not bad at all. After equalizing the sound, they sound rather decent. With a good headphone amplifier and the bass cranked up, they're impressive for the price (at sale price) and can pressurize your ears and tingle your cheeks, you can also push them pretty far before nasty distortion. But wow these things become uncomfortable after even short use. I don't even have a big head and I have quite small ears, yet the way they clamp down on top of your ears, not over, causes actual pain after a couple of hours, especially when taking them off. It's the only thing letting these down. I only use them for about 30-45 minutes at a time now.

Just what I was looking for. It comes with a jack that fits my phone. The sound is crystal clear and the price was reasonable.

Ho acquistato questa HD 1000, trovata in offerta "come nuova" su Warehouse Deals. Avevo letto alcune recensioni entusiaste sulla qualità audio e non mi dispiaceva l'estetica retro', oltre al fatto che sono cuffie chiuse e possono garantire un miglior isolamento acustico. Avevo anche letto delle loro dimensioni ridotte e speravo che questa caratteristica la rendesse più trasportabili, grazie anche al sacchetto incluso. Purtroppo le dimensioni sono veramente piccole e non riesco ad indossarle correttamente, risultando quindi scomode. La forma può far pensare ad una cuffia "over ear", ma si tratta di "on-ear". Nella foto il confronto con una cuffia "over-ear" standard, nemmeno troppo ingombrante, evidenzia le diverse proporzioni. La qualità audio non sarebbe male: anche se non perfettamente indossate, i bassi ci sono, anche se non profondissimi e la riproduzione generale è buona con una dinamica decente, quindi superiore alla media. L'estetica non è male, anche se le finte cromature dorate sono alquanto pacchiane. Purtroppo per me inutilizzabili e quindi restituite.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He likes them. He says the sound cancellation is good and the quality of the sound is great. He also says that they are very comfortable.

Me ha funcionado perfecto, solamente que no me percaté que no tiene micrófono y lo necesitaba con el. Por eso le di 4 estrella.

If sound quality is priority then these are perfect. Wow I cannot believe how good they sound. Right out of the box excellent, and with every listen they get better. The break in is right on point with other headphones. You will find it very hard to find this sound quality at this price. Comfort is 8 out of 10. Who cares with this sound package.
