Q: Can you remove the glass?

Yes. I had to, to give it a good clean in hot soapy water, actually, before inserting my photos, as it was covered in some sort of sticky substance that didn't just wipe off with a quick rub!

Q: don't understand the 6"x4" which also states 15.2cm x 15.2 cm - which is correct - is it square or rectangular?

6x4 is rectangular and 15.2x15.2 is squarebut i didn't buy this size.

Q: will it stand landscape and effectively looking at previous comments?

It stands both landscape and portrait with the same rear leg.

Q: The picture I need to frame is 14x11 would this fit or would I need a larger size?

Yes for picture only, but if you want a border you would need to reconsider the size of the frame
