Fablon FAB11880 67.5 cm x 2 m Roll, Palisander,Brown

This fablon looks like real wood it is easy to apply and looks even better with white units .I Bought 3 rolls for my worktops everybody that seen it cannot tell it is not real wood.IT has a warm natural tone that makes any kitchenware that you have on your tops look even better.The width covers the whole worktop strong and durable instantly lift your drab tops this is stunning and great if you want that farmhouse look.

I didn't want to write a review straight after application to see how durable it is. I have used a varnish on top to protect it a little so I am not sure how it would be without that varnish but so far for me this has been great. I have not beed extremely careful and just use my kitchen counter as I would do with normal worktop. Just not placing anything hot directly on it. It looks very god. I think that my very old kithen looks much better now. Its easy to install. I am not a very artistic and precise person and I have managed to apply this in an hour or less. I have also painted my cupboards, so it feels like a new kitchen :) very simple and cheap DIY project.

A few tips that may help others Watch a YouTube video before you begin Cut to size before you start the small tool you can purchase for pushing out bubbles is so worth it I purchased one from amazon for very little money about £3.00 Stick a small amount at a time. Take it slow. Using the tool to push bubbles as you go. Don't pull all the backing at once. Just a few inches at a time If you have breadbins ect it's well worth making sure they have soft pads under to help prevent scratching. It's a durable material but will scratch if you pull things over the material that haven't pads. I'm really pleased with the finish. For the price it's fantastic.

What can I say... I bought these to jazz up my kitchen worktops as they started looking worse for wear. They looked absolutely amazing when finished, like brand new. It was very fiddly to stick on some places but you just need to be patient, definitely buy the tool recommended as it makes life easier. I put mine on nearly a year ago now and they still look pretty good!

I have mixed feelings on this product, the positives are it looks great and is easy to use. Unfortunately the negatives are that is isn't hard wearing AT All and damages very easily. The slightest scrape causes snags and scratches to the surface as you can see in my photos. I dropped a tin which also caused a small chunk to rip Off 😩 I'm finding myself buying chopping boards and rearranging jars/appliances to hide damaged spots lol I only did it 2 days ago aswell. Quite gutted really 😔

Love this done my kitchen worktops so nice , always get correct length as it depends on size of you're work top .

Great product. Have used it to redo my bathroom cabinet top. Was easy to use it, except for working around the sink shape. But I managed , definitely recommend it’s lovely and stylish design paper.

Very thin and doesn’t stick. The worst ever.
