Husband takes these when he feels the beginning of gout. Been using for several years and when he takes them no gout, if he stops it can come back.

I have had the chance to try a variety of strengths and 'brands' of the Montmorency Cherry capsules. These, so far, have been the most beneficial. I don't have gout, but do suffer from difficulty sleeping and prone to UTI's. I must say since I have been taking THESE - I have had a far greater/easier time in getting to sleep AND staying asleep (I Believe these have helped me to have more 'efficient' sleep!) I also have noticed that my proneness to UTI's are ZERO. I also workout quite a bit and feel that these have helped my muscles in recovery! I think these are over all - a great supplement - no weird taste, easy to swallow average sizes 'pink' capsules (the cherry is powdery pink inside the capsules) - I take two once a day and has definitely made a very positive difference! I love the Prowise Healthcare line - I have bought other products through them and really like the quality and wonderful products and services they have to offer! I will re-order these quite soon, as I will be needing more! I believe I'm done looking for the 'right one'!!

Used before with moderate effect but had to then use more heavy duty anti-inflammatories. Once they finished I tried again but took 3 a day and it’s got a bad case in knee/foot under control.

I tried another gout prevention tablet, not only were they extremely difficult to swallow but didn’t seem to work. I've had prescription drugs from the doctor to bring down the Uric Acid but the gout came back within a week. Since taking these tablets which are much easier to swallow because they are in a capsule, I'm completely pain free, which is something I haven't experienced since the first flare up in June 2022. Needless to say I'm so impressed and will be looking at repeat purchases. I feel the need to add this to my review. I have now been taking these tablets continually for the last 6-7 months and I have been gout free. Just recently I was admitted to hospital for an unrelated condition and I stopped taking these tablets. Within 7 days my gout returned and not only was I dealing with a life threatening illness from admission I also had the crippling gout pain. The doctors prescribed Colchicine which cured the gout, now back on these extracts and it hasn’t returned. Without these tablets my gout returned with monotonous regularity. Never will I stop taking these again, in my personal evidence they do stop gout returning once the prescribed meds do their job in treating the flare up. Thank you. Update, recently admitted to hospital and unfortunately this wasn't on my known medication list. Not taken for three days, back came the gout with vengeance. Had to take Colchicine to get rid, back on these and no gout since.

Will have to wait for another twinge to gauge true effectiveness.

For the first time in my life at the beginning of August I got a very swollen toe one morning, it was so painful I could not walk any distance without a walking stick. No way to see a GP but phoned a private one up and was told it was likely to be gout was prescribed pain killers. In the meantime I went on line and saw that cherries helped but no way could I eat enough cherries to be effective and tried these Cherry Max and within a day the pain began to decrease and was completely gone by the second day of taking them. Didn't know if it was the pills or just a natural end to the inflammation. I stopped taking the pills and then a week or so later I woke to a tingling in the same toe and could feel the pain beginning, I immediately took 2 Cherry Max and by the evening almost all of the tingle/pain had gone and after two pills the next morning it was all gone. So now I take two a day and will see if the pain ever comes back but for now I am almost 100% sure that these work and quickly if you take them at the first sign of gout returning. I went to a podiatrist as I had made an appointment after the first bout and she said it was very likely I had had gout. Not taken any tests yet - will do when doctors etc are more available. I never took the pills the doctor prescribed as these pills had already worked.

I use Tart Cherry to keep my gout in check, but these are cheaper than my usual brand, do I bought to try once my others run out

I use this product for arthritis and suspected gout. It's very early days, but together with uriprinol, it seems to be working. Now able to get out of bed using my knees, rather than having to push myself up with my arms. Less achy and more importantly moving often with no pain - which is great! Really pleased at the moment. They're tablets so they don't really have a taste.

I haven’t tried the product long enough to comment on its quality, but the bottle sure was a surprise! Never seen one quite like this before. I guess it makes it more convenient if you have to carry it with you.
