Could this be used to 'inject' the lemon syrup into a drizzle cake? I'm thinking it might be better than just poking holes in the top with a skewer!

I would suggest UK ounces because it's being sold in the UK market. Even if wrong, the margin of error is less than 5% and would make very little difference for cooking applications.
