MUST BUY FOR ECZEMA SUFFERERS!!!
I normally donโt write long reviews but in this case itโs worth it as eczema has impacted me my whole life as many of you have probably already experienced. I have to admit I was extremely skeptical when reading all the reviews as in the past nothing has really worked for me with these types of results (this includes antibiotics, steroid ointments, aloe vera, petroleum jelly, cold water etc). Let me set the background story for you. After some major stressors in my life my eczema on my feet flared up hurrendously. To the the point where I found it painful to walk.. I had to buy new shoes... I couldnโt wear skirts... i had to buy flared trousers and change my wardrobe to clothes that would both cover my feet in public whilst also not irritating the eczema (all socks and tights made it worse) and without looking like a freak with no fashion sense at work. My skin was broken... bleeding... weeping... inflamed... cracked... you name it. It looked so unsightly I avoided leaving my house unless I absolutely had to. I stopped wearing make-up and doing my hair nicely so i wouldnt attract any type of attraction and they wouldnโt be tempted to look down. I even went to the dentist and brough an extra jacket to cover my feet during the procedure because I was worried it would distract the dentist while he was meant to be focusing on my teeth and gums. My feet were itchy some nights i literally would tear at my skin and didnโt care it bled because it gave me relief of itching for at least 10mins. Itching is a euphemism for what I was feeling. I literally felt like my eczema was ON FIRE!!! I would spend my lunch breaks at work in the toilet just scratching and rubbing my eczema and the toilet floor would be full of my dead skin. It was disgusting. The last time I lay on the toilet floor I realised I needed to do something different. The steroid skin worked but only as long as I kept applying it and it was started to make my skin which was healthy peel terribly and thinned my normal skin. AFTER LITERALLY DAYS OF USING DERMALEX... my skin went from snakey, scaley, weeping and cracked... to smoother, itch-free, and manageable skin. I could wear skin colour tights and people wouldnโt even notice I had eczema. As an eczema sufferer i am sure my fellow eczema sufferers know how triumphant it feels to actually FORGET you have eczema during the day!!! Anyway my point is... this is WORTH every penny!!!! :)

I'd recommend
It's an excellent cream, not too heavy, no smell and keeps my skin protected. It dampens itching and leaves my skin feeling moisturised.

Expensive and not a cure for echezma but very definitely helps.
Suffered from eczema on hands for 25 years. After using Dermalex it is now better than it's ever been, almost completely cleared. Achieved this with a week using a strong steroid cream from doctor - ClobalDerm (Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% w/w). Avoided any liquid soaps and shampoos that contain sodium laureth sulphate. Also avoid household cleaning products and anything that will remove natural oils from skin (e.g. white spirit, antiseptic wipes). Used Aveeno as the main emoliant. Dermalex appears to help the the skin recover. Using an emollient alone does not seem to achieve this. It also soaks into the skin quickly. Omega Pharma are to be commended for their pricing - Dermalex costs ยฃ25 in Boots.

Relief from irritation
A good product I have used for several years. Grateful to be able to purchase via Amazon as the product availability in my area of Yorkshire is very limited. Non steroid product so vey safe to use for easing itching and is absorbed quickly with no restrictions on the number of applications one can apply. Good service received

Have a little patience
I've was diagnosed with Rosacea several years ago and as you can imagine I have tried numerous moisturisers since. I suffer with flare ups on my face on a regular basis causing irritation and dryness, particularly in the Autumn and Winter and these past few months have been no different. I read several reviews and was sold on the rave reviews and how it magically makes flare ups disappear after only a couple of days. I have had Dermalex Eczema treatment now for almost 3 weeks and I apply it at least 2 to 3 times per day. It is only now that I am beginning to see a slight change in my skin's complexion. My face is still red and a bit rough and dry but the signs of redness are starting to show a few signs of less flare ups. I guess its a matter of patience with this treatment but how long will I have to wait until I see and feel a better improvement? Otherwise I might resort back to using nizoral shampoo as it has also worked for me in the past.

Most effective moisturiser I have ever used
For me, this cream is in s league of its own. I have been using it on my face for about three months and it continues to be effective in dramatically reducing dryness, making skin soft and more resilient against irritants, reducing redness and almost eliminating itch. I am a 58 year old female and have had severe facial eczema for most of my life. I use prescribed, thick moisturisers, steroid and pro steroid creams and ointments nd have tried ecpensive cosmetic creams My face gets very deeply dehydrated to the extent that it can't seem to hold moisture in at all, and a moisturiser just won't penetrate and has to be applied almost continuously, to little effect. This cream seems to be able to go deeper into my skin, which stays smooth and softened. A friend commented that the etched lines caused by steroid damage looked less deep. The cream does feel a bit itchy when first applied but this wears off after a few minutes. I find it works best if applied on top of a thinner cosmetic moisturiser I have ( this other moisturiser is too thin on its own). I confess I have had to apply some steroid cream for a few days to clear some resistant redness and dryness, but having done that, the overall improvement has been maintained. This is now a cream I can't be without!

Works very well.
This appears to work extremely well. I have eczema in my ears ( which is horrible ) I apply this twice a day and I am very happy with the results.

What a waste of Money
I've had prime for Years and bought hundreds of items, some of which I've not bothered to return / leave a review. I saw this advertised on the TV and thought lets buy another overpriced cream that probably won't work .......I was right!! ..... its very frustrating when you get charged near ยฃ20 for something that doesn't take away the irritation or that intense itch and doesn't ease the situation of there skin in any way shape or form. Had this of been priced between ยฃ4 - ยฃ10 I wouldn't be as frustrated but to charge ยฃ20 for something as pathetic as this is boarder line fraud.
