Easy by name, easy by nature.
The functions on this model are identical to the Crimson Cruz. The U-11s at both the junior chess clubs I'm involved with can set it with only a few instructions, they have also shown that it is pretty robust. The more senior members at the local chess club find it easier to set than the more expensive models. It is a basic timer without the delay and increment options, so if like us,you never need (or use) those extras, this could be the timer for you. They are just as quick to set (and adjust) as an analogue clock, and very competitive pricewise. The children love the move timer option, for example,15 seconds/move.

Stopped working soon after purchase
This timer stopped working soon after I purchased it. The return process was easy. There are better ones on the market. (One good point in favour of this timer - it is silent, unlike the old wind-up ones.)

A little pricey, but totally worth it.
clock is an excellent purchase for my gaming needs. really good durability and very precise. Seconds only show after the 20 min mark has been passed as counting down. A little pricey, but totally worth it.

The clock is fine, but...
Ok, this is probably useless information to most people in Amazon, but the "Spanish" part of the manual of instruction is the worst translation I have ever seen in my life; it is an absolute disgrace. The manufacturers obviously decided not just to use a machine translator, but to use the worst one ever conceived, even though many free ones do a much better job. Most sentences read something like "The clock in take with here later through my of without"; most sentences are almost impossible to understand, and there must be more mistakes than wods. A 3 year old child would have done a better job. This carelessness about the finished product makes me wonder whether they put the same amount of effort (i.e. zero!) and care with the actual parts of the product, or whether they think Spanish speakers are retards, but in any case, I am very disappointed.

missing a few options
On the plus side, the clock is very intuitive to work with and very easy to set up. Ideal for someone who's starting chess or for other games. On the minus side, it's missing a few options. It's not possible to play with increments (you can only play with a set amount of time for the whole game or simply time each move) and most common tournament timing options should be pre-set.
