I bought this for my 11 year old for Christmas. He was a pro at it in one short afternoon. It’s super fun. The app download for the video is easy to set up (just read the directions but it’s not complicated). It’s fun for beginners but I think anyone would enjoy this little drone.He did take the drone outside but it was a windchill of -29 so the drone battery lasted a whole 5 minutes (but that’s expected in such cold temps with something not insulated). Indoors, the fully charged battery lasts about 18 mins with full time use. He loves it and it’s fun for mom and dad to watch him maneuver like a pro.

I bought this for my 8-year old, with a little trepidation that it might be too complex for him. I need not have been concerned. If you have a kid who has played console video games (XBox, Playstation, Switch), they'll immediately be comfortable with the controller. It was a great idea to make the controller fit a familiar video game control.My 8-year old loved it. Within 20 minutes, he had already mastered several maneuvers I couldn't even sort out.My only concern is that this is a very light drone and it will not hold up well in even a mild breeze. If you have any wind, you should consider an alternative with more weight and heft as this will easily get blown about.Nevertheless, for a drone with camera features and maneuverability, you can't beat the price.I see this as an entry-level drone for those that want to try out the equipment before investing in something more substantial.

Given the price, we didn’t have high end expectations. For the price, it has worked well for us. The drone is easier to fly than I anticipated, and my 11-year-old can easily handle it. The batteries don’t last long, but that is what I expected. It has been a fun toy for the kid. The video and phone app work fine, too.

Got this for my son, on the second day of use the controller stopped responding to left turns he still loved it and setting it up witht the phone wasnt too hard

Purchased for my grandkids for Christmas and they loved them. Unfortunately, they were quickly lost. Hard to get kids to wait until conditions are right. The drones themselves are great but so easily blown into trees, neighbors yards, etc.

this was a present for my son who loves anything that can fly. So far so good He loved his Christmas present. By the way he is a grown man so you get a different response than if he was a kid.

Great drone for starters. It takes some practice to control it but once you get it it's fun! Great customer service, they reply fast and with solutions.

We have gotten this thing up once. It doesn't fly and when it tries to take off it makes a sharp turn and falls.They did offer me a product replacement until told it wasn't in stocks, so they're refunding the money.
