So far so good. I have neighbors who have dogs that bark all the time at nothing. It drives me nuts. It goes on for hours. I did not want to get into an altercation with our neighbors so I decided to give this dog whistle a try. When the neighbor dogs would bark, I would blow the whistle out the window at them. They would stop. I have not have another problem since. Is it the whistle or just coincidence? I am not sure, but I have not had anything else successfully cause them to stop so I am going with the whistle working for me in this instance. It is not completely silent as I can hear it make a light noise when I blow, but nothing that would bother a human or would be something someone else would even notice. I am happy with this.

So far so good.I am still working with my dog and this whistle, but after I read the eBook and adjusted to my dog's liking, I'm noticing a few improvements. He notices right away when I have the whistle and pays more attention to me. My dog only barks when someone comes to the door or when a bicycler rides by. We've managed to train him so that when I use the whistle with a short birst he stops barking. I couldn't ever get him to stop before, until he was ready to stop barking. I'm going to work on stay next and it feels promising. My dog is by no means "smart" so this has been very inspiring!

The first time I blew the whistle, my dogs stopped barking, I think it was because it was a new sound and they didn't know what to expect. haha It comes with a training manual that needs to be read to know how to work with your dog effectively. It is a durable metal with a strap to wear around your neck. Very handy when working with my dog.

I bought this in hopes of correcting my neighbor's small Pomeranian type dog with a barking problem. I blew on the whistle while the dog was barking and it had no effect. I even adjusted the screw that controls the pitch to no success. There is a noticeable high-pitch sound coming from whistle so it's not some high frequency that is unnoticeable to humans. My cats did notice the whistle and scurried off, I guess your results may vary with this.

I have used it multiple times on my own dog and also on other people’s dogs. I am a rural carrier for the post office and of course, I run into a lot of dog on my route and I have noticed that with more aggressive dogs, that when I use the whistle, they seem to calm down allowing me to do what I need to do. Thanks for an awesome product!

You don't hear the whistle and it doesn't bother other people. I give him beef jerky for a reward that's special to the whistle. Only took 2 days and he comes each time! Very happy with the quick results !!!!

If you train the dog to come to the whistle, the dog will come to the whistle. We have given our doodle high value treats when he comes to the whistle. It’s not 100% recall every time, but pretty darn good, especially when we are consistent with it! I recommend this if you’re willing to train and be patient!

It doesn't seem to work on my dog but if I blow it my 1 year old cat comes running to me no instructions on how to get the ebook so far dissatisfied with the product going to find a different one?

I bought this to help me train my little pup. I love this whistle. You can hear it when you blow but not loudly. It can be tricky to get the right frequency for the dog but that is my fault not the sellers. My pup decided to ignore it the first few tries lol. The quality of the whistle is excellent for the price and even comes with a ebook to help you train. Recommended.

Excellent service and good to receive pleasant and helpful introductory email from producer.Product living up to its advanced notice and within 2 days our Cocker/Border Collie cross comes flying back almost literally .Even does it now without a special treat being made available to him.Important to follow instructions for ascertaining right calibration of whistle .

Best thing I ever bought for my Border collie. We have been really struggling with his recall because he just wants to play with everyone. Took him out with the whistle for the first time today and 100% recall!!It was really easy to find the right pitch for him and as soon as we did he responded perfectly!Thank you!!! This product has made dog walking so much more enjoyable.

Slip it out of its holder and you need to practice the correct pitch by screwing the threaded sleeve, then lock off once you have found the correct pitch for your dog(s).

It's a good quality whistle. Sadly the pitch the dog responds to hurts my ears.Unfortunately seller hasn't responded to my requests for the ebook. The 2 stars is for half a product.
