AT641 Vita Pro-Active Continuous Juice Extractor

This is an absolutely brilliant juicer. It fits on the high speed outlet of the Kenwood Chef so you have the benefit of all the Kenwood Chef's power. The wide chute easily takes whole fruit and veg which is great, it makes it really quick to produce juice. The amount of juice this can take from fruit and veg is astonishing. The pulp has virtually none of the juice left in it, all is collected in the juice jug. It also collects the pulp and the juice in contained receptacles that don't make a mess at all. Easy to take apart, it is therefore simple to clean. The only slightly tricky part to clean is the actual cutting blade disc, and there is a special brush provided that cleans that a treat. To summarise, this is a powerful, effective, clean, simple to use and easy to clean juicer. I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you own a Kenwood Chef (and if you don't, you should buy one immediately) this is quite simply a brilliant juicer.

I had this attachment for Mothers Day, my husband having taken notice of my heavy hints that my old juicer, albeit from the ark, just didn't work very well. I am enormously impressed with it. Very solid construction that slots together really easily even for a technophobe like myself. Very large feeding tube means prep is minimal, always a bonus. The waste collector is large as is the juice jug, over 2 pints!! It produces very little frothy scum which I hated and the waste is fairly dry. If you wish to put the waste back through for a second run you just detach the collector instead of having to dismantle the whole thing. Some reviews I've read say that it is noisy and unstable, I found it to be the contrary, surprisingly quiet if you stick to the instruction speed of no more than 2. As for dismantling and cleaning, it took no more than two minutes using the handy brush that was included in the box. I would say this is definitely one attachment worth having.

Bought this juicer having had an ineffectual free standing one for years. After doing lots of research I decided it was best to get an attachment for my Kenwood, rather than buying yet another piece of kit to stand on the work top. This attachment juices really well, leaving behind very dry pulp and is very easy to use. I particularly like that you can juice a whole apple with no need for cutting. We are a large family, so the big capacity is also a bonus for us. I have deducted one star however due to the fact that it is rather a pain to take apart and clean. It has lots of parts which dismantle and I seem to get the pulp everywhere when doing this. I'm sure this will improve with time and practice, but it is a bit of a nuisance.

We use this nearly every day and love the juice it produces. There have been some negative reviews about noise, slowing the motor, cleaning, clogging, assembly; these have been a problem. It’s noisy - tearing fruit to get at the juice is noisy and is common to all juicers. Motor dragging - on tougher fruit it will do that - cut the fruit into small pieces and don’t force it down the feeder tube. Cleaning - this is no more difficult than any juicer. Do it straight away, run it under the tap, the basket will require a scrub with the brush provided. Dry straight away to prevent water marks (esp. in hard water areas). Clogging - it hasn’t clogged when I have used it. Assembly - after the first time it gets easier. The only niggle I have is that the juice continues to dribble out of the spout after removal of the jug. A stopper here would have been useful. I have raked to using a piece of kitchen towel.

I bought this deciding the trust the number of 5* reviews rather than the negative ones but I can only assume those people have never used a juicer before as this one was a nightmare. This juicer wants to be a centrifugal juicer but after it has grated up the produce it just spins it straight into the pulp collection so it misses half the juice and the pulp comes out soaking wet. It struggles to juice pretty much everything, anything hard like apples or beetroot have to be chopped up small otherwise you can smell your motor struggling (I love my Kenwood so would be pretty annoyed if this juicer broke it), and with softer fruit like lemons and cucumber you get about half the yield you should as it passes so fast into the pulp collector (this is quite particularly frustrating if you are doing a serious juice detox and are starving!). Things like apples and carrots were constantly getting stuck in the feed tube so you have to stop juicing, take the thing apart (whilst trying not to get juice and pulp everywhere) and try and dislodge them before starting again. As for juicing things like leafy greens, forget it, it just mushes it up and get hardly any juice out. I resorted to scraping the pulp out and putting it back through the juicer again and even trying to squeeze it out in a sieve to get the remaining juice out. If a juice recipe asked for lemon juice I just did it by hand so not to miss half of it. It is also a nightmare to clean and has loads of sections that need to be taken apart and individually scrubbed (again if you're trying a juice diet and doing this several times a day it gets very tedious). Lastly it is incredibly noisy even when you follow the instructions not to go above level two on your Kenwood, it vibrates so much it sprays juice out of the gap between the jug and lid (not fun when you've got beetroot juice splatting everywhere) and it is impossible to hold a conversation until it is turned off. I can only thing whoever designed this does not actually use a juicer themselves as there are so many fundamental flaws in it. Thankfully Amazon's return policy is brilliant so I am returning this to do more careful research on what to buy instead.

The juice itself is great. The attachment however is fiddly to assemble and does not fit onto the K Titanium very well, so I hardly use it. Today it has just taken me nearly an hour to detach the juicer from the main machine! I shall not use it again and would definitely not buy again. (I should add that I usually love Kenwood - but not this!)

Después de tener varias licuadoras individuales optamos por comprar este elemento junto a una batidora. Menuda diferencia. Prácticamente obtenemos el doble de jugo y la mitad de restos que con otras. Además corta muy bien. Casi sin tener que hacer presión. Incluso con vegetales duros como las zanahorias. Se ve que producto es de buena calidad. Tanto los plásticos como las piezas metálicas parecen robustas y resistentes. Veremos cuanto nos dura.

Excellente idée cet accessoire qui fonctionne parfaitement sur notre robot de 15 ans déjà.

Kurz zur Info: Ich bin stolzer Besitzer einer Kenwood KMC 010 Chef Titanium. Der Entsafter passt, entgegen der Beschreibung auch auf diese hervorragend drauf. Dann weiter: Einige der Rezensionen hier kann ich nicht wirklich nachvollziehen bzw. habe ich die Vermutung, dass der Entsafter entweder auf einem wesentlich leistungsschwächeren Gerät montiert wurde oder ein Bedienfehler vorlag. Doch kurz zu meiner Erfahrung: Ich habe mir den Entsafter gekauft, weil ich bei einer Freundin frisch gepressten Obst-/Gemüsesaft genießen durfte, grundsätzlich gerne Smoothies und generell Säfte trinke, allerdings auch mal ein paar exotischere Mischungen ausprobieren wollte. Gestern durfte er dann mal ran. Aufgabe: 2 große Karotten, 2 kleine Äpfel, 2 Rote Beete und ein gutes Stück Ingwer sollten entsaftet werden. Aufgesetzt, Maschine anlaufen lassen und die Leistung, ohne in die Anleitung zu schauen, kurz vor der sechsten Leistungsstufe eingestellt. Dabei habe ich zuerst ein rappelndes Geräusch vernehmen dürfen, das sich dann eher in ein triebwerkartiges Pfeifen verwandelt hat (okay, ich kannte schon andere Entsafter. Geräusch also durchaus normal und typisch). Also rein mit den Karotten, dann den Äpfeln und der geschälten, roten Beete. Zum Schluss dann noch das Stück Ingwerknolle. Endresultat: Der eingehangene Saftbehälter war nahezu vollständig gefüllt (ergo: Fast 1 Liter) und der Trester hing hinten am Rand bzw. im Auffangbehälter. Geschmacksprobe: Feiner Saft, ein wenig Fruchtfleisch noch übrig - aber das kann man sicher mit einem feinen Sieb abseihen. Ganz nach dem persönlichen Geschmack. Jetzt zum Trester: Ich habe ja gelesen, dass sich Leute über den relativ feuchten Trester beschwert haben. Das wiederum kann ich nur darauf zurückführen, dass die Leute entweder eine zu schwache Maschine verwendet haben oder sich von der Anleitung verwirren lassen (die ich NACHHER mal gelesen habe. Da steht nämlich was von "maximal Stufe 2 verwenden!". Gut, kein Bezug auf die jeweilige Küchenmaschine, die damit gemeint sein könnte. Und da der Entsafter auf mehr als ein Dutzend Kenwoods passt, könnte das auch irreführend sein. Ich empfehle daher Ausprobieren, welche Leistungsstufe jeweils am Besten passt). Bei mir jedenfalls war der Trester sehr fein, relativ trocken (eine gewisse Grundfeuchte lässt sich sicher nicht vermeiden) und sah auf Anhieb appetitlich aus. Hätte ich die Äpfel nicht inklusive Kerngehäuse und Strunk reingeworfen, ich hätte den Trester problemlos auch als Gemüsepuffer in die Pfanne hauen und als Beilage servieren können. Also kein Kritikpunkt von mir. Jetzt zur Reinigung: Es gibt ja die Behauptung, der Entsafter wäre "schwer zu reinigen" (kurz: Ist er nicht) oder gar aus vielen Teilen bestehen (kurz: Tut er nicht). Daher hier mal die vollständige Auflistung der Komponenten: - Grundplatte (zum Anschluss an die Maschine. Wird nicht verschmutzt, kommt mit nichts in Berührung) - Saft-Auffangschale (außen Metall, innen Kunststoff. Spülmaschinengeeignet) - Entsafterklingen/-sieb (Vollmetall. Spülaschinengeeignet) - Kunststoffdeckel (Spülmaschinengeeignet) - Stopfen (Hartplastik, Spülmaschnengeeignet) - Tresterbehälter (Kunststoff, Spülmaschinengeeignet) - Saft-Kanne inkl. Deckel und Halterung an der Maschine (jeweils Kunststoff und spülmaschnengeeignet) Zerlegen und Reinigen ist ein Kinderspiel - hätte ich Kinder, ich könnte es ihnen problemlos überlassen. Und bis auf den Deckel der Saft-Kanne sind auch die Kunststoffteile allesamt in relativ wertiger, dickwandiger Qualität und damit stabil genug, damit sie SEHR lange halten dürften. Auch wenn die meisten Teile problemlos in die Spülmaschine können, so reicht es im Prinzip, den Entsafter kurz nach der Benutzung zu zerlegen und unter fließendem Wasser (und ggf. mit der mitgelieferten (!) Bürste oder einem Schwamm) abzuspülen und so wieder vollständig zu reinigen. Wo hier ein Aufwand sein soll, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Zusammengefasst: Die Qualität ist super, der Lieferumfang ist ordentlich, die Reinigung geht leicht von der Hand, die Saftausbeute war bei mir sehr gut und irgendwelche Mängel sind mir keinerlei aufgefallen. Daher gibts von mir die vollen Sterne.
