Pencil & Paper Games (Tear-Off Pads): 1

Some excellent game ideas that can be easily replicated (and even embellished) on plain paper once the book has been used. Until now I haven't spent much time playing paper-based games with my son, but this book has inspired me and even made me realise how some can be changed to incorporate simple ruler use, creative drawing as well as counting.

Great book for engaging with kids and creating fun away from screen time. Bought for my 8 year old son for a caravan holiday. He’s a big gamer but loved getting stuck into the paper games in this book. It’s pleasant to look at with loads of puzzle pages so you don’t even have to remember paper.

This is such a great idea. A book of fun games and puzzles to keep children occupied on long journeys. The pages rip out easily so you can quickly discard the used games. If you're looking for a way to occupy kids that's screen free, try this! I'm happy with the quality and value for money.

We first got one of these books at the airport and was a hit on the plane with all of us. I like the variety of games provided and the instructions were pretty good with some of the games we were not familiar with. Having the tear away page option was good for the three of us because while I was playing dots with my son, my husband was wracking his brain trying to figure out the code my son had set for him. I bought this particular copy to add to Easter bags for the nephews and they have been enjoying using these as well. I would recommend adding some mechanical pencils so it can be used as soon as it arrives.

These games a entertaining the kids while on holiday.

We recently took this book on our 11 hour flight to LA and it did not disappoint! The pages have blank templates of popular games printed on them such and Hangman, Battleships and treasure hunts. We have since spent hours using this book at home too. It has also introduced us to some new games which is great. There are around 10-20 pages of each game so there's loads to choose from and the best part is that it gives you the instructions for each games at the beginning of each section incase you aren't familiar with it. Overall a fantastic way to spend an hour or two in any environment x

I ordered this for my 9 year old for when we travel abroad for the plane. A great boredom buster which should get the brain thinking. A decent variety of games with a few in each selection to do. Like the fact that it's a decent sized book, just bigger than a pocket book and that you are able to tear out the pages. This should keep my kids entertained once the electronics die off. Would recommend.

Looks good and think my grandson will enjoy doing it, but it's smaller than I thought.
