I use nuk teats on an avent bottle as they fit, do you know if the free flow nuk spout would also fit?

Yes it should fit at width of bottom is the same for different flows

what is the average age recomanded for this product?

I struggled with both my kids to get them off breast feeding and this is the ONLY spout that worked, so probably any age can use it, I used it from 9 months with 1st child and 4 months with 2nd child. It's a very soft and natural spout and can be used right up to 2 years. Hope this helps!
