Great value noise cancelling headphones packed with features
Tozo A2 earbudsThis is my third pair of Tozo earbuds and one of the lower to midrange price options on offer from Tozo. They have a good mix of features and sound quality of other headphones in the Tozo range but at a price point that’s affordable and leaves behind things you arguably don’t need - like wireless case charging and digital battery display for example. In the box you get the headphone, a good small size black plastic charging case that’s wider than taller so fits well in a pocket, and a usb charging cable, micro usb type connector. The headphones also come with a selection of three ear pieces to fit your specific size of ears.Out of the box they’re very easy to connect, open the case, pull off the tabs, open your Bluetooth settings and they’re there, just tap and you’re away. They connect automatically from then on when ever you open the case and lift out a headphone. The headphones neatly snap back into the case with magnets and then automatic my disconnect and start charging again.I really like the fit of these earphones. The medium size earbuds fitted me well straight from the box so I didn’t need to try the others. They create a nice secure and tight but not uncomfortable fit. They’re noise cancelling in that they create a seal stoping outside noise getting in. For those not used to it, it can feel a bit strange as you can just hear your own heartbeat, swallowing, neck movements etc, but once you’ve got music on it’s not noticeable and it does remove outside distractions. Having a stick style headphone I find is preferable as it’s easier to find a fit and position in your ear time after time using the position of the stick as a reference point. Something that more bud style earphones lack.Sound wise these are slightly heavy on the bass, but that’s expected with sealed noise cancelling headphones, otherwise they have a good mids and trebles and no hiss on quiet tracks or at low volumes which can be the case on cheaper headphones.Build quality feels sturdy on both the headphones and case. The case has a magnetic closure but probably feels slightly less secure than on a more expensive case but does the job fine.Battery life seems good, I rarely use Headphones longer than an hour and they are more the up to that, and the case has leds to show the charge in the case.Features wise, they have all the normal features of Tozo headphones with a series of taps on either headphone you can play, pause, forward or backwards skip tracks, and even turn the volume up and down all from tapping and holding. It’s quite intuitive and is more than apple offer on their headphones. The downside to the multiple tapping options is that you can sometimes do things without meaning to when adjusting them in you’re ears, but thankfully as these are a stick style you can adjust them without handling the tap sensitive area.On the downside there’s no wireless charging but for this price and how often you need to charge the case itself this isn’t a big flaw at this price.

TOZO A2 - Compact, comfortable and let’s face it, cheap
Can you imagine just a couple of years ago being marginally disappointed by a pair of £15 wireless headphones? That’s how far tech’s come. They’re *almost* disposable, however if they’re anything like an older pair of TOZO buds I have, I hope they’ll be going for a few years to come. These tiny little ear buds are ridiculously low in cost, very easy to pair, and have simple pause/play, volume up/down, skip, call answer/end functionality in just a tap or hold to left or right bud. Simple. It’s daft to think too long and hard about the depth of the bass or brightness of the higher frequencies, if you want AirPods sound, spend AirPod money. If you want to listen to podcasts while making and taking calls walking the dog, here you go.They look the part, surprisingly high in quality. Arrive in a tiny case (ready charged too!) and slot very comfortably and securely into your ear. A range of silicone buds are included to suit you in person as you’d expect.Charging is via USB-C, a USB-A to C cable is included and the case accepts rapid charging (not wireless, remember you’ve only spent £15).These are perfect as a back up pair of buds, or even to work hands free in your home office, the built-in microphone works surprisingly well with call quality at either end more than tolerable.

Excellent first pair of wireless earbuds, better than expected
I bought these for my wife, who has had wired earbuds before, but these are her first pair of wireless earbuds. I, on the other hand, have used wireless earbuds extensively for many years and currently have 2 premium pairs one from Sony, the other from Tozo. When I said that I would buy these earbuds for her, she liked the look of them, they look a lot like the Apple Airpod Pro earbuds and she requested them in black. The main reason for buying them was to use for phone calls, so that she did not have to hold her phone up to her ear, which can be quite tiresome especially on long phone calls. When they arrived, she could not get them to work, so I pointed out that they first needed to be paired with her phone, which I did for her: Setting, Connections, Bluetooth, make sure Bluetooth is turned on, Scan (for devices), select Tozo A2 (when it becomes listed) and Connect. This worked quickly and we checked the connection by playing some music she had on her phone. I noted that the sound quality was not as good as what I am used to with my earbuds, but since each pair of mine cost 10 time the price of these, it would be surprising if they were as good. However, my wife says that the sound quality is pretty good, which is all that matters. Now they are paired, the earbuds connect automatically with her phone, each time she uses them. On phone calls she no longer has to hold her phone up to her ear, which is far more comfortable. Also, according to her mother, who is hard of hearing, the call quality is better with the earbuds than without, making it much easier for her mother to hear what is being said, which is an unexpected bonus. The battery life also seems to be surprisingly good.My wife has now got used to the earbuds and is really enjoying using them. She really likes the magnetic feature so that they fit correctly in the charging box. She tends not to listen to music by this method as much as me but she is looking forward to using them on long flights to distract from the noise of the plane and other passengers. They are definitely worth the price tag and are a great pair for people just getting started with earbuds or who want a pair at a very reasonable price.
