How does the water tank work? Where do i put the batteries?

Batteries are needed only for the lights, they're placed under the lights. Water tank is activated manually, by cranking the pump, which makes this toy interesting. Great one

Can it fit playmobil figures?

I'm pretty sure my kids use their playmobil figures with no issues in all their Bruder vehicles.*edit to add* the doors don't open but the windows are open. playmobil are small & they definitely fit through, but if your kid is small he may need your help. my 6 year old & 4 year old can manage by themselves at this stage.
