Stallone Collection (First Blood/Cliffhanger/Lock Up) [Blu-ray]

I wanted to watch Cliffhanger again, hadn’t seen it in years since the days of vhs, and Sky, Netflix and Amazon Video did not have it to stream.Prices for Cliffhanger on its own were high and the UK version is cut to shreds by the BBFC.I looked at getting the uncut US version but it appeared to be out of print, so third party copies were ridiculous in price.That’s when I looked at this trilogy, not only is it the uncut version of Cliffhanger but it comes with two extra movies and is super cheap.Bargain.Very pleased, and watching Cliffhanger again was almost as good as when I first saw it in the cinema.

Just bought it for First Blood... it was actually cheaper to buy this box set than FB on it's own! But I hadn't seen Cliffhanger in a good long while and what an excellent film that was as well. Hugely enjoyed it.The real surprise for me was Lock Up, which I think I watched 'back in the day' and had pretty much forgotten about... another very enjoyable flick that is certainly one of Stallone's least regarded films but well worth a re-investigation.Picture and sound quality is excellent and I paid less than a fiver...

This is a great boxed set - Comes with 3 great films, the picture quality is outstanding, especially on First Blood. Watched it on DVD the other week, and was so annoyed at how blurry it was I decided to go and get the Blu Ray on Amazon, and ended up buying 2 x Stallone sets, and ended up with 8 movies / 16 hours of brilliant, slurry voiced mayhem! If you like Stallone, buy this set along with the other one that has another 5 of his 80's knockouts as well. Genius.

I am a fan of Sylvester Stallone, and have enjoyed the first two films in this set, though the ladies also present were not too enamoured at the violence.Still have the last 'Lock Up' to see, but I'm sure to enjoy it - possibly alone!Tom Crossley

The box set of three films is good value for money but I was surprised that no subtitles provided for the film Cliffhanger

The description said it won't play in US and canada but i play it in my ps3 and ps4 and wotk well and i live in the US :)
