Is there an indent for the record label?

Maybe s/he doesn't have exactly the same product. Pretty sure mine is the "Project" though don't have packaging etc any longer and nothing on mat itself to identify. You could try calling them. Good luck.

Do you need to re-align the cartridge on the Debut Carbon when switching from the felt mat to the cork mat, or are they the exact same thickness?

Hi, according to Pro-Ject themselves you don't have to do that. The cork mat is a bit thicker than the felt mat. I didn't do any re-aligning on my turntable.

Hi all. What diameter is this mat please. One reviewer says it hangs over the edge of the platter and I am not keen on that.

Hello...The cork mat is 29cm or 11 and a half inches. It fits my Project platter perfectly.

Is there an indent for the record label?

No there is not. So either these are fakes or pro-ject have updated the design. I purchased one on the 29th Dec 2021 for my pro-ject player, it's identical thickness to the original felt mat but slightly reduced diameter so the record overhangs it by about 2mm. The hole is slightly too tight - about 7mm not 7.2mm but I confirm that neither side of this has an indent - not sure why one would be required either... the felt mats have no indents.
