Its my first time to eat black rice and i love it it a real black rice , the quality it great , the grain are whole not broken into pieces. The texture is great too. Though its a little expensive its worth it coz it has a lot of benifits. Will continue to order this black rice coz its hard to find an authentic black rice made in India. Highly recommended

I usually do not like the nutty and chewy taste in rice. But this is surprisingly good. I like it and I have bought it more than twice. Price is Little bit on the higher side. If we could find it in our neighborhood stores, it's available for seven dollars for a 2 LB bag. Other than the cost it's of excellent quality.

I was excited when I finally found black rice, after reading some amazing nutritional information. So I ordered a large bag of the black rice from this supplier. Unfortunately when I read the preparation instructions, it requires the use of a 'pressure cooker'. I haven't seen anyone who still owns a pressure cooker since I was a child. I attempted to contact the distributor but the email came back as undeliverable, and the website listed on the package never loaded - so now I'm stuck with 4 lbs of black rice that apparently I can't cook without a pressure cooker -- I'm certainly not going to buy one just to cook this rice -- maybe they should have said that in the description somewhere....?

I have been looking for Karuppu Kavuni rice as I heard about its health benefits, the product packing was very good and got a timely delivery. It also had a recipe printed on the pack which was easy to follow and cook especially as we were trying for the first time. The rice flavor was amazing and we made a dessert which took me to the days when my mom used to prepare it. Highly recommended this product if you are looking for a healthy and tasty black rice !!
