Wow I’m really happy I found this, I bought for my 2 year old who needs help naming things and since he likes to eat fruit I thought this toy would help him to recognise and name them. Quality is a lot better than the usual cheap plastic play food items, they don’t squash easily, and the plastic basket is also very detailed and good for tidy up

We absolutely love this set of play food. It’s sturdy, rubbery plastic that is slightly bendable. Absolutely excellent quality. The only part that is drawn on is the edges of the cucumber so the colours stay as they are, i.e. vibrant and deliciously looking. It’s looks very realistic and has a nice feel. Our three year old daughter loves mixing the salad pieces together. She uses them in different play activities such as in her role play, sorting and counting. After having read some bad reviews we were a little concerned that some reviewers mentioned a chemical smell. Our product had no such smell except a slight hint of a plastic smell (no surprise there, it’s made of plastic!) Definitely recommend this product.

There is a lot in this set so it's very good value for the money. The tongs are very popular and the pieces of salad are lovely. Lots of play potential here for making lunches, dinners and sandwiches and for cooking. The bowls are good quality hard plastic and nice and strong. The salad items are rubbery and resilient. They did smell a bit strong at first but were left to air and also left in the sun for a day or so [as mentioned by other reviewers] and then washed and gently scrubbed with a soft washing up brush in warm soapy water, Then they were dried and aired a bit more and that seemed to get rid of the chemical smell. Really nicely made and the grandchildren are having a wonderful time playing Café and Restaurant and making all sorts of nice meals. A good purchase as far as we are concerned.

Well made and colourful.

Lovely purchase. Saw these at a playgroup so I bought them and I'm so happy with them. My toddler has learned all the colours and the names of both the fruit and vegetables as I bought both sets. Very good quality

A brilliant product, well made and well crafted. Has enabled my 2 year old daughter to differentiate the different fruits and vegetables. She loves this set! The only thing it is lacking is an orange - a staple fruit. I would expect it in such a collection. Even before the inclusion of the plum and the apricot. The description for the product is misleading. In one list it mentions an orange; a few paragraphs earlier, it does not. There was no orange in the pack I received.

I bought this for my one year old granddaughter after getting a similar set for another granddaughter in Canada. Although she is too young to get the play value from it, she recognised the fruit and veg and was able to say some of them. They're a nice strong plastic, nice vibrant colours and will have a long play life as once she gets a kitchen, she will be able to play with them. Very pleased

It’s not that hard cheap plastic other toy food is. Realistic and Toddler loves them.

Muy lindos. Buen material. Suave y firme al mismo tiempo, ideal para las manos de los niños. La mano mostrada en la imagen es de un adulto. Buen tamaño, me gustarían más verduras per la verdad que todo muy bien.

Absolut toll. Mein Sohn spielt so gerne mit seinem Marktstand. Dort war das Obst und Gemüse aber aus hartplastik, viele Teile sind kaputt gebrochen. Nun hat er ersatz bekommen. Das Obst und Gemüse ist schön weich und sieht gut aus. Auch toll das ein Einkaufsbeutel dabei ist. Preis ist natürlich schon happig, aber das Ostergeschenk war ein voller Erfolg. Einzig würde ich bemängeln das die Größen Verhältnisse nicht passen. Die Möhre ist fast mit am kleinsten. Erdbeere fast so groß wie die Zitrone. Hier hätte man die Größen besser anpassen können

I’m glad I spent the money on this set. It’s not an overwhelming amount of toys, instead it’s a rather classy and high quality item with just what you need. Would be amazing as a gift! The fruits and veggies are ‘small’ in size, which I think is perfect for toddler hands. We’ve borrowed bigger sets before and that was no good, also because then the food then simply doesn’t fit into a play kitchen. This set is superb, great size, perfect amount of toys; and even though I feel it was slightly pricy, I’m super glad I splurged!
