How do you attach it to the ceiling?

You keep the piece of cardboard with the string wrapped on attached then decide what length you want it to be. Then just attach it to the ceiling with a drawing pin.

My swallows are hanging upside down and look dead! Not very relaxing :( Can anyone please help? Thank you.

I folded the wings & the middle of the bodies to make them look like they're flying. I think it was in the instructions. We've had ours for nearly 4 years & it's still beautiful. My daughter still likes it. X
