**Q: Is this valve suitable for a metal pipe at one end and a plastic bottom entry pipe under the cistern of a toilet please. Thank you.**
A: Yes it’s suitable but as it is a compression fitting, the plastic tube must have an insert, which is a smaller piece of plastic tube which stops the plastic pipe from being squashed by the compression valve

**Q: Is this suitable for drinking water?**
A: Yes you can. Material is brass/ chrome / and copper olives so there is no chance rust.

**Q: Is the handle metal or plastic ?  ... If it is plastic, will it be strong enough for regular operation?**
A: The handle is plastic as to regular operation I find these valves wear or seize over time and may need replacing every couple of years.
