Neewer® Professional 33"/84cm White Translucent Reflector Umbrella for Photography Studio Light Flash

Neweer have updated their umbrellas since my last time purchasing them - the quality and feel is now better in every way. Whilst these are budget umbrellas, they feel more like a mid market item. My reason for purchasing these was to replace my previous umbrellas, which fell to pieces through years of use. I’m hopeful these will last just as long - if not longer due to the enhancements.

A very compact folding shoot through umbrella, great for a compact lighting kit

I was surprised, this is a very light umbrella with a strong metal rod. You can use it for bounce flash or flash through it for diffused light (it transmits about 50% of light) as fill in for portraits. You will need a suitable stand or clamp to hold it. As I say it is quite light so I doubt it would stand up to too much rough treatment. It fold flat and goes up like a standard umbrella.

This is a nice size for a simple shoot through umbrella, easy to transport and giving pleasing light, every photographer should have at least one in their kit. This version is reasonably well made and produces nice light.

Way better quality than umbrellas I bought before. Happy.

Sturdiness & Strong plus compact, very go light Umbrella to carry in kit

Cheaply produced umbrella. Like a children's umbrella - but 5x the cost. Thin umbrella covering and cheap alloy. Tested with light and not the effect I expected. After the government 'Lockups' and being forced to use Amazon more, I am becoming more annoyed with how many of Amazon's products are 'Made in China' and shipped over to us suckers. I wish their was an indication on the website where products are actually made... but I'm sure they will never do this. Not happy with this purchase.

Good product but mine arrived with a bend handle. It doesn't affect the use but for an umberella at this price it shield be packaged better.
