I'm a programmer, photographer and gamer, spending at peak work periods up to 20 hours a day on the computer for up to a week or so.I've developed problems with my eyes. Severe dry eye, bilateral recalcitrant recurrent corneal erosions, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, etc, etc.Common symptoms within an hour or two of using the computer include:- dry gritty eyes- burning eyes- throbbing pain at back of eyes- headaches- photophobia- inability to focusThese glasses have made a surprisingly significant improvement to each symptom.They are by no means a cure, but a significant aid to accompany medication, lubrication, nutrition and working practices including resting the eyes periodically in use.Be aware that the yellow tint, although it is something you quickly become accustomed to and forget about, can lead to odd colours in your prints when photoshopping with them on. Gunnar does make clear lenses, but for me personally I hoped the tint would help with my photosensitivity - which they did.Overall, one of my better purchases and I wish I'd purchased them a year ago when I first read about them but was too skeptical to put them to the test.

5 stars for perfect quality good design and what's important these glasses let your eyes rest ! I can spend hours in front of the screen and my eyes are not as tired as before. Takes a while to get used to the amber tint, but trust me, after a week you won't look at your screen without them. I do recommend for everyone who spends few or more hours daily with a PC.

Have had these for a few weeks now, and they're easily one of the better purchases I've made in a long time; before, I wasn't able to sit in front of a monitor for more than 5 or 6 hours in a row, but with the glasses on the glare is noticeably lower. The arms are thin enough to fit right under over-ear headphones as well, which is a large plus, since I have the headphones on 90% of the time.One minor complaint is that the glasses are too narrow for me and the arms squeeze on my temples a bit, but that's probably simply because I have a large head. As I only use these indoors and in front of my computer, it's not a big problem. All in all I'd happily recommend this product to someone who finds his/her eyes get a bit tired after staring at a computer screen for a few hours.

Very light and comfortable to wear. I previously bought Gunnar Intercept and it got broken after 2 weeks of use. Moreover, Gunnar Intercept was putting too much pressure on my temples. Fortunately, the Intercept broke and I had to buy a new one. I am using Gunnar Sheadog every day and it works perfectly. Its light, durable, comfortable and much more compact compared to other Gunnar glasses.

Stops the blue light well, might just be me but seems to sharpen up the screen a slight bit too?! Really helpful as I used to get headaches easily and struggle to sleep, not anymore!!!

Firstly the bad, the frame is very lightweight and flimsy, when cleaning the lenses the frame flex's and crack the lenses at the top corner as seen in the picture. It appears the frame is too thin to properly house the lenses hence the cracking.The good, very light, stylish and very comfortable for long periods of time. I'm computer aided designer and work in front of large monitors for extended periods of time, eye strain is common but these glasses have really helped reduce that strain.If the frames could be re-designed sligtly to to help in reduce excessive flexing without adding to much additional weight this would be a five star review. but for the price I really can't complain. If i were to replace these I would look at other options before a re-purchase perhaps.

I bought this product twice;The first time after 7-8 months the lenses started chopping off for no apparent reason (I never drop them or anything). They were still in warranty so I contacted the seller to ask for a refund/replacement. However they just wasted my time for over a month, probably waiting for the warranty to expire. In the end I had to contact Amazon to get my money back.After that I purchased the same glasses, hoping the chipping problem was a one off thing; alas 2 months later the new ones are in the same condition (pictured above). I will just contact Amazon directly this time as I have 0 hope the seller will do their job.

As a heavy PC user, I used to find severe problems with my eyes. Using these hugely reduced the problem. I would also say that they make the screen look better as well as reducing eye strain.Even off the PC, they seem to make colors more vibrant.

Ottimi, ho acquistato gli sheadog onyx con lenti amber 65% e sono semplicemente ottimi, montatura leggera e sottile adatta anche per chi usa le cuffie da gaming, flessibile e resistente quanto basta, naselli comodi come anche le astine che sono della lunghezza giusta.Le lenti non hanno un graffio quando sono arrivate, L ingiallimento non crea problemi e ci si abitua dopo poco, L ingrandimento riportato da scheda è 0.2 ma personalmente non vedo grande differenza tra con e senza, migliorano il sonno e mantengono gli occhi più riposati, riducono arrossamento, gonfiore e dolore sin da subito.Decisamente soddisfatto 😁Unica pecca è non avere la custodia rigida che è assolutamente meritata per questi occhiali, la versione sheadog essendo curva ha bisogno di custodie abbastanza larghe e sarebbe utile averne una originale.

Stylish pair of glasses that help minimize eye strain. Before these glasses I would have red blood shot eyes from looking at a computer all day. Now I never look at a computer screen without wearing these. Only complaint is that the side arms are a bit thick to use with a headset, so don't recommend using headphones that sit on your ears with them

The glasses provide a little magnification. Haven't been wearing eyeglasses and it took me a while to get used to seeing through the edge. Might worth trying the bottom-edge-less one.

Mi trabajo me exige muchas horas frente al ordenador y esta es la 4 que compro. Siempre la misma marca aunque cambiando de modelo. Sé que serán ligeras, confortables y que me ofrecen lo que quiero, He quedado como un rey regalando estas a otros compañeros del curro. Siempre que las uso noto como me alivian la visión y puedo mantenerme mucho más tiempo frente al ordenador sin sentir la vista cansada. Recomendado 100% para los que media vida la pasamos por exigencia del guion frente a un monitor.
