Works, no casualties in our case either.
This worked well for us on our neon fish, they were healed of white spots and we even had shrimp and they survived despite reading not to use with shrimps. All we have is neons and shrimps.

Not really safe for shrimp or snails
A simple Google search doesn't not recommend this product for snails or shrimp . Don't know how good it is because can't use it and don't wanna try and be sorry 👍. 3 star rating as I don't know if it's good or bad

Make sure to buy this product if you can notice any white spots on your fish.
Worked very well managed to save all of my fishes they no longer have white spots. (I also used aquarium salt and increased the temperature gradually everyday.
