The jar has a white top, but the glass is green. In the pictues it is clear glass. Have I received the genuine product?

I have bought this product many times over the years and haven’t ever had a green jar. Having looked at their website, none of their formulas are in a green jar. Personally i would return the item and reorder or call Amazon Customer Service to discuss.

Can this be used on the underarm area?

It originally was sold as a dark spot remover, I use it on my hands and it does work, however, if you stop using they eventually come back again. Now it is sold as face brightening cream. I see no reason why it can not be used on any part of the body. I have worked in the Beauty trade for many years, and if it is dryness you have I would imagine unless really sensitive any moisturiser would be ok to use. You could try a tiny patch behind your ear, or in the crook of your elbow to see if any reaction takes place before use.

Why does it take so slow to work?

because usually it has 2% of the active ingredient that whitens or lightens the skin discoloration. 2% is not a lot.

Does it work well on people of colour? And scars?

I couldn't say about on colour, I am Caucasian. But I believe how it works is to slightly darken the surrounding skin area. The cap, when left for a while has the darkened cream settled around it. It didnt work at all and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Sorry .

I really like the Fade Out Original Brightening Day Moisturiser. It feels lovely on my skin and leaves it feeling soft, moisturised and looking brighter. I’ve noticed my skin looks more even and healthy with regular use. A little goes a long way, and I like that it doesn’t feel too heavy on my skin. Overall, I’m really happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

I have been using this for 3 months and not noticed any difference. Infact it has caused some more marks to appears. It's probably not designed to be used on black/Asian skin types.

Half empty

It is already a small 50ml, when I opened it to I found half of the contents missing. Not surprising because there is not even a seal on the lid. Super disappointed as I waited a long time to receive it after ordering...
