Royal Brush RART-140 Golden Taklon Multi-Purpose Brush Set, Assorted Sizes (Pack of 3)

Used for dying wood and recommended not to use for this purpose but with varying brush movements it did the job perfectly. Used it loads and not one hair has dropped out. I have really pushed this brush to the limits and have now bought another set but probably won't use them for years. Definitely a good purchase.

This low cost pack of hake brushes are obviously not top quality but are remarkably good value for money. Whether you are curious about if this is a variety of brush that you want to explore before buying something better or merely want something large and soft for wetting down or dusting with these are a useful set. This is set has a 1 inch, slightly less than 2 inch and slightly less than 3 inch brushes well filled with very soft goat (?) hair and unfinished wood handles. This hair holds a lot of water but doesn't spring back when wet. I've not had problems with them shedding or with their durability although they benefit from a wash, reshape and the removal of any wandering hairs before use. I would recommend drying them with the brush end downward - which I recommend for every kind of brushes. This is my second set. I will now use the first set for brushing off excess pastel and keep these new ones for wet on wet painting.

This was recommended by an artist and it did the trick for me when I joined her class for instruction. Good price point. Happy.

These brushes last ages. Firm but soft. Bristles don't fall out. Great for paint & varnish.

I expected the bristles to hold together more when wet, these just splay out rather weakly. Overall a fine brush set to have for when you need it, but I wouldn't miss them.

The brushes, which I bought to use on my watercolour abstracts, are decent quality and good value for money.

These brushes are so cheap for the quality. I went back and brought 2 more. They are super soft and I use them to blend acrylic backgrounds and large areas. They don't drop hairs like mop brushes too. Great for tone and wash.

These brushes are great; they hold a ton of glaze, they are soft, and they allow be to put down a smooth, flowing coat of glaze onto my bisque-fired pottery. They are cheaper than buying from Blick or any other chain art supply store near me, and I like the assortment of sizes in this package.

Ich verwende die Pinsel für Streichschellack - Geigenlackierung. Dafür stehen die Pinsel seit zwei Wochen ununterbrochen in Spiritus eingetaucht. Kein einziges Haar verloren. Kein Qualitätsverlust. Erstklassige Pinsel meiner Meinung nach.
