I’d say the quality is fine, quite light weight so easy to move around without strain. However the lack of weight does mean you need to hold it in place when using the cutting blade. But what it lacks in some minor areas of stability this item gains in usability and quality. A definite value for money purchase that will deliver clean cuts and plenty of them! Blade is sharp and cuts easily, a rotating blade as opposed to the standard straight razor type, which means there is less snagging and creasing of whatever it is you’re cutting. When cutting, please account for half a mm or so and feed this extra through to the side you want cutting off to make for the perfect cutting measurement as this is likely the width of the blade. 100% recommend this for all of your casual straight cutting needs.

First time I used this to cut paper - the cutter blade sheared through the hard plastic paper holder and shredded it - which blunt the blade and now it doesn’t cut! Very disappointed as it was to replace one of the same brand that I’ve had and used for years!! Must be faulty! Unfortunately can’t be replaced as I bought it 3months ago…,!!

Ok for cutting paper/ cardand easy to use. Wouldn't recommend for hardcore crafters or photographers or anyone who would want to use this to get precise cuts. However great for home activities and quite safe. +Plus point are that it does cut +Grids allow you to roughly size up projects -Very light weight and this is just a personal preference as i work in design, i like my rotary cutters to be heavy and sturdy when cutting though pieces of work. -The blade didn't cut well if not a lot of pressure was applied. You shouldnt need pressure for these to cut it should just glide across the guide bar -Plastic protector wasnt as sturdy as i liked and dint hold as well as liked. Also it didnt line up exactly with the edge i think mine had slipped? =Overall wouldn't use for my work however i still use occasionally for crafty things at home. Do not buy if you are used to DAHLE or REXEL. Good little buy however would compare to something you could get in average Rymans. You get what you pay for with this and if you just need something average to do the job this will do.
