Yamato Moe Moe Black: Hyper Armored Block 003 T-Rex Action Figure

I really liked the blocky and heavy design of the figure. So when I saw it on Amazon I wondered why the price was so low. Now that I have it, I realize that I probably would not have bought this, had I seen the actual package in front of me. The cool blocky shape is actually a trick of the photography. This figure is actually pretty long and looks stretched when compared to the photo. It's front view is also quite lean. The legs in particular look more like fins than legs. So just be aware that it's a little different from the photos. I was under the impression that this was a model kit, but it is mostly assembled and comes as 5 large pieces. Legs, arms, and torso. It also has very limited pose-ability. It does come with a stand, which is nice to put it up for display. All in all it's an alright figure after I got past my expectations of the look and the assembly. However I wouldn't pay the MSRP of 80 bucks for this. In fact 30 is pushing it in my book. Great Product. Arrived on time and no problem at all.

This model looks cool but does not hold up to any manipulation of the limbs which is necessary when attempting to make it stand up. The pictures do not show the base or center support rod which actually keeps the model from falling over. Both arm limbs and a leg broke at the large ball joints during assembly and posing of the model. ( a very poor design). I repaired by drilling small holes, inserting pins (pieces of a metal paper clip), and gluing. I was hoping to convert this model for table top gaming and was aware of the construction issues from previous reviews but the $15 price tag was a bargain.

The joints and pins are made from a different plastic than the rest of the model. Seems to be very low quality styrene, what revel model kits are made of. they don't snap in either they're just held in by friction. And the pins are very thin and fall out easily. The rest of the piece is made out of heavy solid cast blocks that really put these under strain. Worst of all though, the combination of how back heavy it is, and the horrible leg articulation means that it can only stand in one position hunched forward with the knees bent all the way forward, and the arms as far forward as they can go. the fact that the knees can't bend any further makes realistic walking poses impossible. Good for kit bashing, parts though as the casting of the more solid parts is good and it is cheap.

The pictures of this product make it look more massive than it really is. The legs, in particular, are thin with tiny feet. The lack of support from the legs makes it difficult to stand the figure on its own.Of more concern are the pin-and-ball pieces that make up the joints. All of them are plastic. This makes the figure fragile once assembled and on display. Even a modest drop can break the joints. Although replacements for the smaller joints are included, the larger joints in the legs are not.

If I wasn't planning on gluing it in place and pulling parts off of it I would be pretty upset that both of the arms broke in two different spots mid assembly. The joints are just super fragile and weak. No fault on the seller just low quality plastic attaching heavy pieces of plastic to heavy pieces of plastic.Be careful while assembly because Revoltech joints they are not.

About the ppl complaining about this previously, It's a anime mecha!, It's a beautiful piece. The angle of the feet makes it impossible to stand by itself. It's really meant to sit on the stand. Fit and finish is very nice. Another great find for an Armored mobile mech. Also a great price, $ 21.99. IF you like mechs, get this!!

It's a little tricky to keep it standing, and some of the friction joints are looser than I'd like.

同社の完全変形マクロスシリーズに心酔している身としてはオリジナル商品のリリースを度重なる発売延期にもめげずに待ち望んでいました。しかし、第１弾がこの有様では正直見通しは暗いです。まだまだ"β版"の域を出ていない商品です。つや消しのオリーブドラブ単色の塗装は色ムラが出にくくPVC製フィギュア特有のエッジのダルさをうまく中和してくれています。オリジナルデザインを謳ってはいますが、某ゲームの核搭載型二足歩行戦車に腕の生えたようなデザインはご愛嬌。実際にこのような兵器が作られたら乗り心地悪そうです。画像ではきちんと立っているように見えますが、左右の幅の薄い脚部と可動範囲も接地面積も小さい足首に加え、PVC製の胴体と腕の重さのせいでスタンド無しの自立はかなりポーズが限られます。腕を少し開いただけでも倒れてしまいました。材質と形状から重心の不安定さは充分予測出来たはずですが、メーカーは試作段階で脚部の造形について何の疑問も持たなかったのでしょうか？全身をABS樹脂製にする、もしくは、膝から下を亜鉛ダイキャスト製にして重心を下げる等の改善で克服出来るような事なのですが。また、本製品は関節部分に海洋堂リボルテックシリーズのリボルバージョイントのような球体関節を肩、肘、股関節、膝、足首に使用していますが、片方の軸棒は角形であり、しかも保持力が弱く前述のポーズ固定の困難さに拍車をかけています。形状だけでなく保持力も参考にして欲しかったです。加えて、球体関節も含め全ての軸棒が細くてちょっとポーズを変えるのにも慎重にならざるを得ません。出来さえ良ければ8,190円という定価も許せたのですが、完全変形マクロスシリーズや1/12スコープドッグをリリースしている会社が出したとは思えない程アラが目立ちます。各ショップの値段設定にも反映されているらしく、私の購入時の値段よりもさらに安くなっているので、気になっているけどこの値段じゃ買えないと思っている人は値下がりを待っても良いかもしれません。今後のシリーズ展開で少しでも改善して欲しいと願います。今回は勉強代として納得する事にしました。

Der T-Rex ist mit wenigen Handgriffen zusammengebaut und sieht auch sehr gut aus. ABER er ist äußerst fragil und ähnelt vom Material mehr einem Modellbausatz. Der Schwachpunkt sind vor allem die Drehgelenke. Ansonsten aber ein tolles Mecha Modell. Ausgeliefert wird der T-Rex in einer Windowbox und im inneren ist alles gepolstert und in Tüten sowie Folien verpackt. Ein Ständer, der aber nicht nötig ist, zwei Hände und zwei Ersatzgelenke sind ebenfalls enthalten.
