Is this any good for feeding a cake ?

I bought it to inject flavours into meat, but I don't see any reason why you can't feed a cake with it. Quite a good idea actually providing whatever you are using to feed it, isn't to thick to pass through the syringe of course!!!

Is this any good for injecting jam into jam doughnuts?

Personally I found it easier to inject warmed jam into the precooked doughnut rather than the other way around. I am not a professional and am impatient with fiddly things so this wasn't too handy for me. I do not make doughnuts on a regular basis either so there may be a knack I haven't developed as a result.

There are two needles. Both are approx. 8.9cm long. The diameter of the large needle is approx. 0.4cm and the smaller is approx. 0.3cm

Does the syringe have measurements in ml? If so what is the increments and capacity?

Catherine The syringe has a 45ml capacity marked in 5ml increments. It also ha fl oz in 0.25 up to 1.5.
