Yes ，It can work on MAG 256 box, can also work on MAG250 254 255 256 257 270 275 350 352box.

I don’t see why not I used it on a 425 and had the box in bedroom and had no problems watching iptv tv

I have just received mine today for tv. light won’t come on and tv won’t detect it. t vs usb ports work. does anyone actually know how to sort this?

Sometimes u have to manually install it and make sure it's for TV not computer as I made that mistake also some have a tiny button on them and I have to hold it until it connects if not b a dud
