can you please tell me how tall this is

Yes says the dimensions are 34 x 24 x 61 cm so height would be 61 cms

why the lid was not in parcel and is really needed

Yes lid comes with bin and you should get in touch with sellers you have paid for the lid with the bin

What is the length and width at the base?

I can’t answer that unfortunately as mine has gone to the tip. It’s made in three parts (moulded handles clipped into main part) which were always coming apart and it cracked right across the bottom. I’d find an alternative if I were you. I have the newer version which is not so pleasing on the eye or so comfortable to carry but at least it isn’t broken!
