Magic and durable!
Bought as a present for my niece, who now owns a collection of these books. She is a tad heavy handed and tends to gouge the brush sometimes, but they have held up pretty well- only a few scrapes and holes in the pages. Definitely a lifesaver while travelling to keep the little ones entertained, and they are convinced that they have magical powers or a magical paintbrush. Whatever works!! No mess to clean up- even if they use too much of the brush all that happens is things get a wee bit wet, but it all dries up quickly enough. once the pages have dried, they can be reused time again. The pages are cardboard, so are pretty strong and don't bend or break easily. They definitely pass the toddler/ young child challenge.

Creates quiet toddlers!
My 2 year old loves these, and they keep her occupied (and quiet!) for at least an hour at a time. They are mess free so can be used anywhere, and would make a good alternative to watching tv on tablets in restaurants etc.The only downside is that if the pages get too saturated in water or the child presses too hard with the pen then the magic coating can start to come off. They last more than long enough for you to get your moneys worth though.

Best book ever
So happy with the quality and my 17 month old loves playing with this. Great for travel or tv free entertainment! Melissa and Doug does it again!

That's a lovely pad, but the brush is a bit leaky and 4 pages is not that much, but my daughter likes the designs.

Nice variety and very colourful.
The media could not be loaded. [Video representative of function]A nice variety of pictures with cool secret and hidden creatures to find. The picture isn't revealed too easily, so children are more engaged when colouring.Nice variety of pictures, and great reusability. Wonderful value for money.

Beautiful mess free entertainment
My daughter adores these books after getting one for Christmas. Great practice for learning to colour and spot different animals WITHOUT any of the terrifying mess that comes with painting! very sturdy and doesnt wear out (shes basically washing this book a few times a day the way she colours in!)

My 4 year grandaughter absouletly loved this item. Really glad i got it at such a bargain. She was using it for at least an hour and insisted on taking it home.Great item for keeping them entertained.

Good and bad.
Clever idea. But it is made of cardboard and you wet it to reveal the pictures. So it very quickly goes permanently out of shape. My little girl loves it though.
