Just the job
I have a small number of vinyl LPs that I need to transfer to my iPhone Music app. This unit seemed ideal and it proved to be so. I managed to transfer four tracks from the first LP on to an SD card which loadedly perfectly into the Music app my iMac. I started successfully to build up an 'album’ but then things went seriously wrong. The turntable refused to record anything more. After trying other brands of turntable and then getting a replacement Digitnow unit which similarly would not seem to record, I bought a new USB stick and tried again. Success! It seems that reformatting the media caused the problems. My advice is to buy a brand new USB stick or SD card and use it – straight from the packaging – exclusively for disc-to-MP3 transfer work and don't, under any circumstances, reformat it at any time. In my opinion, having tried other brands of turntable-to-MP3 units, the Digitnow is the best of the bunch. One of the alternative units transferred straight to computer, but I found the sound quality unacceptable. Another advertised MP3 encoding, but produced WAV files in mono! My advice for build quality, versatility of sound sources, and audio quality is to go with the Digitnow, drag your MP3 files in to the free (from app stores) Audacity app to 'top and tail’ edit them, but don't reformat your nice new USB/SD card.

Very good value item- does everything it is meant to do.
Overall I was very pleased with this. It's compact and nicely presented, and feels quite robust. It's very easy to use and records direct to USB converting to MP3 format with no trouble. This is my principal reasons for buying it as I wanted to digitalize a lot of tracks from vinyl and cassette. The sound quality from the unit's inbuilt speaker isn't great, but good enough especially for the low cost. I have connected it up to an external device with a better speaker and this works well. The cassette deck is rather clunky and you can fast forward but not back, so not very convenient for finding specific tracks, but that's a minor problem. The software doesn't recognize gaps between tracks so you have to start and stop every track individually to get separate MP3 files for each track- again, a small inconvenience but overall the package is pretty good for the low price.

Awful & Cheap
Awful and cheap product. When it arrived, it was so light it felt like a toy! Very cheaply made. Then when I got it out of the box the plastic lid was so cheap and delicate it felt like it would just fall apart, as well as this it barely stayed up right by itself. It felt as if it could fall down and crush the record at any second. I played through a 7” vinyl and the sound was okay although there was a lot of noise (something that didn’t happen on my previous player with the same record). I then tried to place a 12” vinyl on the player to discover that it would barely fit on the player. I actually had to hold the needle out of the way to get a 12” vinyl on. The record played fine for all of 30 seconds before it started making an horrendous sound, I immediately stopped playing and tried a different record to be sure. And sure enough it did the same again! And when using the remote to turn up the sound all it seemed to do was make that horrendous noise worse. By this point I didn’t even attempt to try the Bluetooth or the cassette player especially as the cassette player looked so cheap it looked as if I’d never see the cassette again if I put one in!!! Safe to say it didn’t even last an hour before it had been boxed up for a return. I then purchased a more expensive record player from HMV, amazing quality, amazing sound (with the same records I tried on this player) just shows you get what you pay for! Don’t waste your money

Just ok for the price
Dial quality is awful feels very cheap . Remote is shocking again feels like it will snap . Paired to phone easy and sound quality isn't bad over bluetooth . I have yet to try vinyl or tape on it . Overall for the price I feel its just ok looks nice enough and compact

All
Bought this for Christmas box for my late partner. He only had it 2 months when he passed. Once a speaker was added he loved it. Unfortunately I cracked lid after he passed so annoyed with myself.

revive vinyl to digital
Nice little machine, not great build quality but its good enough for what it cost. I transferred all of my old records to USB stick which was then copied into iTunes. Now the poor point...The sound although not fantastic is good enough for what I wanted to use it for but I returned the first one because the sound quality became awful after a long use of 8 hours of playing LPs onto USB. It music backing was OK but it sounded like the vocals where coming from another room. The same happened to the replacement unit so I planned to return that one as well on the following day but when trying it next day, all was well while I played my remaining LPs over the next 5 days, which leaves me to assume there is a heat related issue with the player.
