BIC Gel-ocity Quick Dry Ballpoint Pens - Red, Box of 12

Good value for money. Have used these pens before & liked the comfort. They can smudge a bit but not the worst. Easy to order, delivered on time. There used to be green available which is what I was after initially; however, red will do the job for now. Hopefully individual green will make a comeback.

Good pens, they don’t smudge, last well and are decent quality. Ink flows well, not scratchy. 12 in box all the same colour - red. They have a little plastic cap on each nib to prevent drying out while in the box. They are the clicky type that click open and closed, no lid Do the job well. I would use again, happy with them

These are lovely push and click pens that are not biros but a gel like ink that is vibrant red and dries really quickly. Great pens for marking work. Writes beautifully.

These pens are a bit of a cross between a biro and a gel pen. There are twelve retractable pens in the box, in a nice red ink which writes well. They do feel more like a biro to write with than a gel pen, but they write reliably and smoothly, and feel very comfortable to hold. With twelve in the box, they'll last a good long time too!

Nice, vibrant shade of red. It dried quickly and didn't smudge. The pens look classy and feel comfortable in the hand. Beware! I spent a frantic few minutes trying to get the pens to work before I discovered that the nibs have a wee blob of wax on to stop them leaking in the box.

This is a box of excellent gel pens which, once you've removed the protective cap from the nib, write very nicely with a smooth action. They sit well in the hand and are not too expensive. I can't think of anything else to add I'm afraid, but I'm happy to recommend them.

These are expensive, but imagine you have a large pile of marking to do, a hand that gets tired, and want your students to read what you have written - then these are well worth it for comfortable marking with a bit of style. I like the wide body that sits well in the hand, the retractable metal nib with smooth flowing ink, and the grip to allow you to hook the pen over a notebook or pocket. The pens come with a plastic seal at the end of the nib to lengthen storage time and reduce drying - you pull this off with your fingers and then the pen writes easily. The ink dries quickly - it will be difficult to smudge if you write on ordinary cartridge or office paper. On shiny paper it smudges badly, though.
