Low impact workout for disabilities
I have fibromyalgia and Psoriatic arthritic in most of my joints so exercising is extremely difficult for me at times. When I have flare ups, I can only walk very short distances and find that if I go swimming, I struggle to get home afterwards so needed exercise I could do at home. I also need the exercise to be enjoyable otherwise it will become a gruesome chore. I've found that aerobic exercise is great for improving my Fibro but I can't be jumping around as it's too harsh on the arthritis. This workout is perfect, really builds up a sweat without leaving me in agony afterwards. I started off with walking on the spot (rather than back & fourth) and doing the easier steps but over about 2 months, gradually started to find it easier and there is someone in the video doing the harder moves which I managed to build up to. I absolutely love the latin workout because the music reminds me of when I used to be able to do Zumba (the disco one is a bit cheesy but still fun). No matter what shape you're in, this is definitely worth a try! If I can do it, almost anyone can. The instructor is very friendly (without being too annoying) and I was worried that a DVD like this would make me feel ancient and thought it would be aimed at older people, but that wasn't the case at all! I'm 28 and didn't feel out of place or awkward doing this at all. I am now buying a different Gina B "dance that walk" to get some more variety.

You won't be disappointed !!
Much better then I thought , fabulous for what I consider if you are 40 or over , can't keep up with the much more energetic work out DVD's ( which I have brought many and have to admit I can't complete) . This is easy to follow , will make you sweat and get your heart rate up without making you feel the work out is beyond you. whilst the music is in keeping with the work out & enjoyable I would have given it 5 stars if it had some really good recognizable music .

Uninspiring music not challenging workout
Purchased this to do at home between zumba classes based on the very positive reviews but I'm rather disappointed. Mainly because of the music which doesn't really encourage you to dance . I love a Latin vibe but this isn't proper songs just tinny electronic pap I assume for licensing reasons. It's very low impact so seems to be aimed at people who are very unfit and would find a brisk walk tiring (I'm 57 not some young gym bunny). I will do a few times to get some value but I can see this heading to the charity shop.

Seriously life changing
I bought this following the excellent Dance that Walk which is the first DVD ever to keep me motivated not only to keep on exercising but to rein in my ridiculous dietary habits too. These two DVDs are slightly more punishing imho, (but nothing wrong with that,) possibly because there is less variation within them. The sweat I have worked up is something else, though perhaps a testament to how fundamentally unfit I am!Gina and her team are spot on: she is enthusiastic without being over the top, and really encouraging. If only I had discovered her sooner I might not be the disgusting blob I am at the moment (but not for long). (Better make it clear at this point that I am not ACTUALLY Ed Balls who is lush!)I had said I would not get the chair dance DVD because I can still do it all standing up, but it occurs to me that I could use it at work, which is largely desk based. Yes I will look weird, but hey I am the boss, so I can look daft if I want to!

Exactly what I wanted
I was looking for a DVD that incorporated simple dance moves for a low impact cardio workout and that is just what I received. I love Zumba, but was finding it increasingly difficult to keep up with the DVDs I have at home because I am essentially a lazy person and don't exercise enough. Both the Latin and the Disco workouts are a great way of getting back into fitness for me (I have no medical conditions & am in my early 40s.) I also enjoyed the accompanying music and Gina is a very likeable and encouraging instructor. It is also great to have the choice of following one of the other instructors who is working out at a slightly higher intensity for when you are feeling able to push yourself a bit further. I would really recommend this to anyone who is looking for a mainly low intensity workout and enjoys Disco and Latin style music.

AMAZING!
This is another DVD from Gina to add to my collection. I started using Dance That Walk by her about 6 weeks ago and have totally fallen in love with the regime.I have Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, and a spinal issue and CFS and I have struggled to find an exercise programme that suits me.This is great fun, you burn calories, add an extra 5,000 steps a day, and gives you a feeling of achievement not to mention all those endorphins that really boost you mentally.I would heartily recommend this product to anyone who like me has physical restrictions and has struggled to find an exercise programme that is manageable.

Dance That Walk
Love Gina's DVD. It is not too fast so you are able to keep up whatever age you are, I am 61 and found the moves easy to follow and you know you have had a workout at the end. Gina is very pleasant and you do not feel like she is talking down to you. As there are two dvd's by switching them you are not doing the same movements every time which stops the boredom. It will be a dvd that will not be put at the back and forgotten about like a lot of exercise dvd's.

I LOVE THESE DVDs!!!
I REALLY like these workouts! I am 63 years old and can't do the workouts that I used to be able to do, so I was trying to find something that would get my heart going and that I would enjoy. Gina B has a very pleasant voice with an Australian accent. She always has a smile on her face. When I first did her workouts, I could barely make it through the 45 minutes. My calves got really tight from all the walking. However, now that I have done them for several weeks, I can make it through them and always feel great at the end. They also have a lot of arm movement to work my upper body as well as my legs. The music has a great beat. Some of the songs have lyrics and some are just instrumentals. I bought this DVD set after first buying Dance That Walk with a single DVD in the package. It made me smile every time I did the workout and had such great uplifting songs that I decided to chance buying a few more DVDs created by Gina B just so I could have a variety. I was not disappointed! Now I rotate between those three DVDs doing one every day before work. If I don't have enough time to do the 45 minutes, I either use another DVD with 10 minute workouts by Gina B or do one of these three DVDs and just pick and choose the individual dances that I want to do and that I have time for. I really like that you can either play the whole DVD or click on a button that shows you all of the individual dances so you can click on one of them instead of playing the whole DVD. The warm ups and cool downs are great, too. I really do get around 5,000 steps per workout on my Fitbit! I highly recommend these workout DVDs to everyone.

Fun, low-impact
I ordered this without knowing much about it, but hoping for the best and I'm very happy! I like using Leslie Sansone and Jessica Smith. Dance that Walk is going to fit in very nicely with their walking workouts and help me increase my step count. The workouts are on two separate DVDs and each song is its own track on the DVD menu. You can choose to play the entire DVD or go directly to a track. There are three exercisers, including the main instructor. One of them occasionally modifies moves to be a little more active. The main instructor has a very nice Australian accent and the other ladies never talk. They work out against a white background with the company logo on it. I have two left feet and no rhythm, so I really appreciate the camera work in these workouts. You can always see their feet and what they are doing. Each song has four different moves that you do. It's not as complicated as Zumba, but I still need to watch to make sure I get the moves. I wore my Fitbit One for both workouts and I did get around 5000 steps. My Fitbit One counted almost the entire workout as active minutes. The time flew by while I was working out and I felt nicely worked out at the end, especially my legs, but not drained and exhausted. I'm really glad I decided to get these!

MY REBELLIOUS JOINTS!
I like this program. It’s simple, well instructed, and it’s about an hour and a half, if I use both discs. Most of the time I do. I start with the second disc: “LATIN FIESTA” because it’s more upbeat. Then I go to the first disc: “DISCO FEVER” because it is gentler. The steps on both discs are simple: four dance steps and then “walk”. I think of them as sessions. Unlike with Leslie Sansone I get more of an upper body workout, which is one reason why I like this program. My Favorite Track On “Latin Fiesta” is Track Number Twelve: “Calypso Carnival”. It reminds me of the movie: “Mexican Hayride”, an “Abbott And Costello” Film, which is quite funny. Most of the tracks on “Disco Fever” are enjoyable too.Unfortunately my knees and hips are not allowing me to use this program as often as I want to. I’ve turned partially to Exercise Machines like Bikes and Rowing Machines to keep from pounding on my joints so much. I try to work this program in twice a week, which really helps with exercising my upper body, as I mentioned before. I was so excited to get this program because I’d previously bought “SMILE & SWAY” and was quite happy with it. But with this one, my joints scream “what do you think you’re doing?”, if I try to use it more than I previously said. Jumping, Jogging, Running, Pounding and repetitive stepping up and down higher than about eight inches can put me in a chair for days which may mean no exercising at all. This is a good program and I would recommend it to anyone. I just wish that it could be a bit kinder to my joints.

I absolutely Love these DVD's
I absolutely Love these DVD's. I used Gina's first DVD Dance this Walk to try to get back into shape with my hips giving me problems. I have continued to use these DVD's and feel myself getting stronger all the time. I have now incorporated "small" weights with some of her moves. What I like is that when my hips feel like they can't keep up, I'll lay on the floor and do sit ups while watching and listening to the music, giving myself a hip relaxation time. I will then get back up and continue on with whatever step Gina is on. It works perfectly with me. I am so Happy that I found these DVD's and this wonderful workout group of Gina's. Thank you so much for getting me back on my feet and to a more fulfilled life. Bad hips seem to be an issue with a lot of people and you either have hip replacement or try to fix it on your own. I wanted to fix them on my own and I knew sitting all day was not going to fix them. Walking works even if it's in your own living room. For me, I had to do a little at a time and it helped. The Best thing to do is not sit idle and Gina makes it fun. Get up and start enjoying your life again, she will help you.

Nice workouts for easier days
Gina B. is my new favorite instructor. I am so, so glad that I found her. This DVD has two 30 minute workouts, one a disco and one a Latin dance. Each workout mixes walking with various dance steps, so you don't get bored. Plus, you get your steps in.At first I wasn't too thrilled with the disco one since I never cared for disco music, but the workout grew on me and now I love it.Why I love this workout:* Gina! She is just so peppy and upbeat, you can't help but be in a good mood when watching her.* Yes, you can dance. Gina is a master at breaking down dance steps so anyone can do them, even people like me who have two left feet.* The upbeat music. You can't help but want to move when listening to these tunes.I say give these workouts a try if you are looking for a fun way to increase your daily step count.
