Excellent pencils. Well made, write well and the rubber is useful. The retro Japanese packaging is attractive too. Will buy again.

With a massive range of shades for a humble HB, a slightly larger circumference than many traditional pencils, a super smooth core and a highly effective eraser these pencils are my go to for sketching. They stand up well on a technical front against any other pencil I've used. They also smell amazing. Genuinely can't recommend enough.

This is an excellent pencil and the eraser actually does work—unlike so many. Plus, you get twelve in the box so really good value all round.

I am a huge fan of empire integrity pencils and can’t get hold of them. So I thought shape wise these are the closest. I wish they didn’t have a shiny coating. Other than that they write really nice and smooth. The rubber actually cleans rather than smudging that you get with lots of other cheaper brands. All in all very happy. Big thumbs up.

From the packaging to the pencil, this set is great! I have always been rubbish at planning and writing notes down with pen, because if I make a mistake (which I do a lot 😭) then I rub it out! Sounds obvious I know but it helps with making everything look neat and well presented. Pencil definition aside - this specific set writes well, looks very classy and the rubber is effective. Being relatively hard, they will last ages! Absolute bargain if you ask me. Hope this helps anyone looking to purchase

Smell amazing, look great, sharpen well and hold a point. My go to from now on.

These are arguably the best HB pencils out there; but absolutely the best for the price. The size is good, the weight is good and the eraser actually works! Slightly softer than most HB leads but not a B - so, perfect! The only downside is getting them in the UK - this seller from Japan is quick and they come well wrapped, I've not had a broken one in several dozen. A side note is that this Mitsubishi is very similar to the Kitaboshi 9806, another great HB. Apart from the print along the pencil, they look and feel the same - whether one is a copy of the other, or one a re-badged version, I can't say.

As for its performance, this pencil is incredibly smooth. I use it mostly for writing notes, and the lead glides effortlessly across the paper, almost as if it were designed for the purpose of making handwriting a more enjoyable experience. The softness of the lead strikes a perfect balance—not too soft to smudge easily but just soft enough to give a dark, clear line with minimal pressure.

Speravo meglio. Non ho trovato chissà quali differenze rispetto ad altre matite meno costose (ma comunque di marca). Comunque sono costruite bene e sono (IMHO) belle a vedersi. AB
