Spec OpsTools 48" Magnetic Box Beam Level, Tourniquet Attachment System, 33% Larger Block Vials, Aluminum, 3% Donated to Veterans

After years of using cheap plastic levels, I finally upgraded and am happy I did. Just holding this one and feeling its weight and construction, I feel more confident in its accuracy and durability. The hand hold and ties are an added bonus, especially as I’m working on projects by myself a lot. Usually I just grab a squeeze clamp, but I’m always a fan of features that keep me from having to pause my work in order to fetch items from my toolbox.

Product is well made and very accurate.

This product was supposed to be magnetic. It advertises as magnetic buy it is not!!!!

I have a few of these and they a great for anything carpentry. I don’t use mine for tile or concrete work as I don’t want grout or concrete getting in the bungees. Love the magnetic feature!

There isn't much to say about this 24" level that probably hasn't been said before. This particular level doesn't reinvent the tool but its does its job and it does it well. The build quality is top notch. The aluminum body is sturdy and feels good in the hands. The vials are large and very easy to read. The shock cord on each end is very useful for hands free leveling a nice added feature that should be standard on all levels. The magnet is strong as well. As a first responder I do like that they do donate 3% of the proceeds of sales to support veterans and first responders. My only gripe is that they boast engineered in the USA but country of origin is China. For the premium price this should be made in the USA. Overall this level doesn't do anything that your typical cheaper level can do. If you don't mind spending a little extra for a quality item that supports veterans and first responders than this is the level you should buy.

Very good level overall, was spot on with accuracy compared to my other 4ft, and the tourniquet elastic bands are an excellent idea, extremely useful for leveling stud walls, and hanging underneath beams, where visibility is better than on top.My only minor complaint is that only 1 surface has been machined flat, and the other has the tourniquet attachments protruding slightly. This makes it more difficult to self check the level's vertical accuracy for each vial individually, which is a quick rotation for any other box level, and you know it is good. You can flip the entire level over, but then you need to raise it up (or lower yourself) to check the same vial, which always causes some distortion in the accuracy since you are relying on the straightness of your test piece.
