Panasonic LUMIX DMW-CGK28E-K Leather Case for DMC-GM1 Camera

This case fits my GM1 with the standard 12-34mm kit lens like a glove so wouldn't be any good if using a different lens. It's quick and easy to access the camera to take photos and is the high quality I would expect from Panasonic.

There is no question that this case is well designed, nicely constructed, and made of top quality material. It fits the GM-1 perfectly, allowing the camera to slide in and out with a whisper. But therein lies the issue, and it may be a deal breaker for many. Unlike other cases from Panasonic for its range of Lumix cameras, this one provides no protection for the camera when the case is removed. It isn't one of those two-piece cases where one piece screws into the bottom of the camera, functioning as a leather hand grip which onto which the top cover can be snapped. And the GM-1 is a camera that really calls out of the two piece design, as this tiny camera could really use a well crafted hand grip. It's a great case, but its design may not be appealing.

Product was securely packed and looks brand new. Fits my LUMIX G camera perfectly. Tried squeezing the camera in with its original straps but it works better if those straps are removed and the leather case straps are used instead. Would recommend this product 👍🏻

Nice quality but awkward arrangement that doesn't allow easy picture taking. Limited usefulness so not recommended.

Camera case

This case is made of high quality materials and is put toegther very well. As such it fits the camera snugly and looks good. Something of a retro design too.

Großartig und gut verarbeitete tasche, die für die gm1 gemacht wurde. Die gm5 passt auch rein aber man muß zu Beginn etwas nachhelfen, dann ist es ok. Verarbeitung erstklassig, kommt aus Vietnam

Très bonne qualité et s'ajuste parfaitement. La carte mémoire et la batterie reste accessibles. Par contre il n'y a que le 12-32mm qui peut rentrer dedans.

Perfect fit with the kit lens. Nice magnetic closure. Glad I could find it.

Matériau de trs bonne qualité, belle finition. S'ajuste parfaitement avec l'appareil. Il faut reconnaitre que le corps qui pend lorsque l'on utilise l'appareil est un peu agaçant. Mais assure en tout état de cause une protection parfaite.

Ich habe die kleine Lumix gern auch mal ohne sonstige Objektive und Fototasche dabei, und kaufte mir deshalb diese - recht teure - Originaltasche. Mein Fazit: - Die Tasche ist super verarbeitet, weitgehend gute Materialien. - Die Kamera ist nur mit dem Original-Kit-Objektiv darin verstaubar (oder einem kleineren). - Die Kamera wird bei Gebrauch komplett aus der Hülle geholt und bleibt mit ihr im Gebrauch nur über ein dünnes Bändchen mit Schnappverschluss (zum völlig Herausnehmen lösbar) verbunden, von dem sich jetzt bereits abzeichnet, wann es sich auflöst (Material!). - Die Schutzfunktion ist, glaube ich, ganz in Ordnung. Also: Hübsch, gute Verarbeitung, eingeschränkter Gebrauch, mit dem Bändchen eine merkwürdig gegen die sonstige Qualität abfallende Konstruktion...und eben original...
